It was 2 months since I last saw my boyfriend Max. He was touring with his brother Harvey and even though I was insanely proud of him and everything they've accomplished, it was getting harder and harder to sleep alone without him by my side
Mg birthday was coming up and even though he never said it,I knew Max wouldn't be able to make it home for my birthday and even though it hurt to even think about it, I would put on a brave face while facetiming him and act like I was completely fine and un-aware
《The day before my birthday》
I woke up to my iPhone going off next to me on my bedside table. I looked at the alarm clock next to it that reads 6:37 am.Ugh.I reached over to see my best friend Andi calling me. I answer the call to hear
"Y/N Y/N Y/N" and I move the phone away from my ear in shock. "Yes?" I whisper into the phone "Me, Peyton and Jenna are going to DisneyLand today, wanna come?" She asks me.I sigh.
"Well I have nothing better to do today so sure, I guess" I say."Great,we'll collect you at 1 p.m . Bye!" She says and she ends the call.I'm confused since she is normally so chatty but I shrug it off considering it's 6 am and I'm exhausted.
I try and fall back asleep but I struggle and soon realise I can't. I open my texts and text Max
Y/N: You up?
I put my phone besides me not expecting a reply but I'm surprised when my phone goes off with a text notification within seconds
Max: Yep. Couldn't sleep
Y/N:How's the tour?
Max:Amazing! The shows are awesome and the fans are so cool. Plus the sights are beautiful. Well you're more beautful
Y/N: Softie
Max: Only for you my love
I sigh
Y/N: I miss you
Max: I know darling, I know. I miss you more than anything.Only 1 more month I promise
Y/N: 1 month is a long time away
Max: I know. I really wanna see you but tour is hectic
Y/N: yeah I know. I hate that I can't even hug you.
Max: I feel the same. There is nothing more that I want than to fly to you and hug you the biggest cuddle ever but I know it's impossible
Y/N: Yeah I know
You should get some sleep
Max: you're right I guess
Y/N: Goodnight Max
Max: Goodnight princess
The Next Day
I wake up at at 11 pm. Thankfully that gives me enough time to get ready. I put on a cute yellow and white stripped tank top, denim shorts and my white converse. I do my usual natural makeup and I straighten my hair
Suddenly my door bell rings
I rush downstairs and open my door to find my best friend Jenna
"Come on, Andi and Peyton are waiting in the car" She says dragging me out the door and she runs to the car. Me and Jenna sit in the back while Andi and Peyton sit up front. They seem to be acting unusual but you don't bring the topic up.
"So Y/N, do you miss Max?" Peyton asks from the front. "Of course I do, he's my boyfriend and I love him" I reply with "Goals!" Andi says
"We're here!" She says after a while
We all get out of the car and walk towards the entrance
"I have the tickets in my bag somewhere, hold on" She says while rummaging through her big bag
Suddenly I feel a tap on my shoulder
"Miss I think you dropped something"
I freeze. That voice. It's unmistakeable . I look at all the girls and they're all smiling at me. I turn around and what I see brings me to tears
"Max!" I say jumping into his arms
"Happy birthday baby" He says into my shoulder
I thought you had like 5 more shows left. That's what you said last night"
"Actually no tour finished yesterday. I tricked you" He says blushing
"I-I thought you weren't able to make it" I said tears building up in my eyes
"And miss my girl's birthday? Girl get real" He says sarcastically
I say no more and I just give him the biggest hug ever
I guess DisneyLand really is the happiest place on Earth
