Way Back Home

Seemed like only yesterday we were inseparable,
It's funny how things change that we can't even say hello.
We used to make each other laugh and smile all the time,
But now you can't even look me in the eye.
We talked from the morning until late at night,
Maybe it was wrong but it felt so right.
The way you made me feel,
Man it felt so real.
I never wanted it to end,
But now I lost my best friend.
Sometimes I can't help but think of you,
Even when I don't want to.
It brings tears to my eyes,
And I can't help but cry.
The tears roll down my face,
Because I know I've been replaced.
Man it hurts.
Feels like I've been thrown in the dirt.
Now I'm just another face in the crowd,
And I can't seem to find my way out.
Once again you left me on my own,
Now I have to find my way back home.
