Chapter 10

Kevins PoV
I was pissed. Great. The only girlfriend who actually cared what we did I wasn't allowed to be with her. That's just my luck. My mum had taken my phone and messaged her saying we were done and then deleted her number. Fucking hell.
Staceys PoV
I looked at my phone and nearly started crying. He'd dumped me. My mum saw me and looked at me. "What's wrong?" "Kevin. He's he's dumped me." "I'm gonna kill him." "No mum. Leave it. I can handle it myself." I went up to my room put one of his jackets on and phoned Dianne.
D. Stace what's wrong
S. Kev Kevin.
D. What about him
S. He he he dumped me
D. Aww Stace. I'm coming round.
S. How long will you be
D. Maybe five ten minutes
S. Ok
She hung up and I just pulled the jacket further round my shoulders. Why did he leave me. We were on good terms when I left. We don't argue. Maybe it was because of my dad. Someone ring the door bell and next thing I knew dianne was sat next to me on the bed pulling me into a massive hug. "Any idea why?" "No. We were on good terms. We didn't argue or anything. But I bet it had something to do with my dad." We had told neil and dianne about my dad coming back and what happened because they were two people I could trust. "But I thought he said it didn't matter and it wasn't our fault." "Clearly he's a lying asshole." "Any idea where he is." "Hell." "Stacey. I know he's hurt you but don't be mean." "I don't even mean it." "I know." "Most probably at his house but I don't know."
Kevins PoV
I was just laid flat on my back in my room. Why the hell did mum take it so seriously. If she just let me explain. I missed stacey. Dianne has text me and let's just say she wasn't very happy. My mum has said that if I said anything about her dumping Stacey then I would move schools and we would move houses and she would delete their numbers and I didn't want that. At least here I could still see stacey was ok.
Stacey PoV
"Stace I've just had an idea. You want to get back at him right." "Kind of but I don't know the full story." "Well we could pretend that you've got hickeys from other people. I could give you them and then when we go to school he will see them." I nodded so she started doing the hickeys but I still missed Kevin. He wasn't like this. There was something off. Something not right.
Kevins PoV
Joanne walked in and smiled sympathetically. "How do you feel." "Go away." "No kev. You need to talk about it. Why did you even dump her anyway." "That's the thing I didn't." "Well who did them. She's your girlfriend." "Mum did from my phone because of what happened with Staceys dad." "Yeah but did you tell her the full story." "She wouldn't give me chance. All I said was it was her dad. Then she stopped me told me I wasn't allowed to have anything to do with her and then when I tried to explain she left." "Aww Kev. You miss her?" I nodded and she just gave me a hug and I started crying. "Aww don't cry. Well find a way round it. There's plenty more fish in the sea." "I don't care. I don't want to go out with anyone else." "I'll come up later ok bro. Don't beat yourself up too much." She walked out and I muttered. "Easy for you to say."
Skip to when they are at school.
I had moved seats away from Stacey and I couldn't focus. She had hickeys everywhere. They weren't the ones from her dad because her dads weren't that dark. I clenched my fists. I didn't like the fact another guy was touching her. "Mr. Clifton. Are you paying attention." "No sir." "Right once more and it's a detention." "Yes sir. Sorry sir." Mum and dad has been arguing a lot lately because of mum making me dump stacey. That was putting loads more stress on me. "Mr clifton. What is the square root of 36." "6 sir." "So you do pay attention. Right I want you to stay behind after class. Miss dooley you as well." "Yes sir." We both nodded and carried on with the lesson.
Staceys PoV
Great just what I needed. My mum has been very protective. I could hear me muttering stuff about the hickeys but they were from dianne because she wanted to get back at him for me. Now I had to stay behind with him. Great.
