Olivia POV
it's been ten months since that hospital scene and every day it replays constantly in my head. Riker came back and now he's been living here for 9 months. It makes me happy knowing he's still here for me. No matter what happened in the past, it's all over and gone to him, but it still haunts me every day. "Mommy!" Matthew comes running to me. I see he's being chased by Riker. He's wearing his glasses and a beanie. He knows I love it when he does. I think he's adorable in it. "Hey babe." He says pulling me in for a kiss. "Hi!" I reply giggling a bit, returning the favor. "So what are we doing today?" I ask. "I want to take you to dinner." He says smiling. "Oh that's wonderful sweetie, but what about Matt?" I say kind of upset. "Oh my mom will take him don't worry." A smile appears on my face.
Later that night-
I get ready in my black dress and finish curling my hair. Riker is dropping off Matt and then when he comes back we will leave. I'm really excited but he seems nervous for some reason. I don't know why though it's not like it's our first date. I look in the mirror satisfied by the outcome and the car pulls in. I go down to the living room and there Riker stands. As handsome as always. I run up to him and kiss him. "Babe you look beautiful." We leave for the restaurant and when we get there a nice man escorts us to our table. We sit in silence looking at our menus "So Liv, something has been on my mind for awhil-" "can I get you your drinks?" "We both look up at our waiter "um yeah just 2 waters please." Riker looks at me getting my approval and I nod. "Ok I'll be right back with those." "What is it Riker? Are you ok?" I say replying to what he was saying before he was interrupted. "Um yes but I was just saying that I was thinking about this really hard and I wanted to know if-" "here are you drinks." He says while Riker lets put a frustrated sigh. The waiter sets the waters down very slowly. Can he go any faster? I'm dying to know what Riker was gonna say! The waiter finally leaves and Riker continues, "ok so I'm just gonna get right to the point, Olivia-
