Chapter 1

"Aren't we going home yet?" I asked

"not yet" said Aiden

"Where are we heading too?" I asked but he didn't answer. He's always so full of surprises. One time he bought me ice cream to cheer me up when i failed my exam and now i don't know what's on his mind right now.

We're walking towards somewhere. Yep, where walking, our house is not that far from school and neither of us can't drive because were underaged. Exactly 15 minutes later we stoped walking until i realized that were infront of a tree house.

"Why are we here?"I asked

"To chill, obviously" Aiden said " I noticed that you've been so down lately so i decided to bring you here in my tree house, I know it's childish but who says 16 years olds can't stay in a tree house?"

"I didn't know you have a tree house, but I'm telling you it's nothing serious, i was just upset because the main characters in the story that i've read didn't end up together"

"Oh" he said "we can still chill tho, the weather is just fine, but mind if i asked what happened in the story?"

"The boy has to leave, i just pitied the girl, she doesn't deserve it, they split at the end cause she thought she can't handle ldr" i explained

"the f*ck" he cursed "you're worrying about something that's not even existing."

"ha ha" i mocked and laughed

We stayed silent for a few while eating some snacks, enjoying the view, the sky, the birds and the perfect weather. This was always what i wanted, the freedom to explore. I am just so lucky that i get to do it with a friend. He's not my only friend tho, i made a lot. It's just that i get to spend more time with him since were neighbors.

"Aren't you going home yet?" he asked

" I will in a few, just let me finish this slice of pizza, the fries, some chips and i'm good to go"

"Oink,oink" he kept on repeating that piggy sound, it suites him tho, lol. But i know he's mocking me so i threw the bag of chips as hard as i can towards him.

"Ouch" he acted " i knew it doesn't hurt, weakling "It's getting late, you should head back home now"

"Yes sir" i nodded with a hand sign

A few minutes later he walked me home even if it's just a few house away. He's really sweet but sad to say he's a jerk too. I just wish that he can balance his traits.

"Do we have assignments for tomorrow? I asked

"Nope" he answered

We stayed silent until we reached my house.

"Goodnight, thanks for the treat" I said

"Goodnight" he aswered

I noticed that lately he's becoming less talkative, I mean he's still talkative but not like the usual. I guess there's something wrong, i wanna know why but i don't wanna meddle too much with his stuffs. I just think that it's really  unfair because he always cheer me up yet i don't know how to help him.

"hey mom" i said

"Where you from? She asked

"I went to a tree house with aiden" i answered

She just nodded and i told her that i'm heading to my room. If you'll ask where's my dad, well he usually gets home late and it's still quarter to 6 pm.

As i was scrolling  through my phone, i noticed a message from Aiden.

From: Aiden

I quickly opened the message

Aiden: hey, I hope i didn't disturb you.
             I texted to inform you that I
             Wanna say something tom.
             I hope you won't be upset tho:)

This was it, he's finally gonna tell me he's problem. I hope I can help him really well tho.
