out of the closet

In the corridors you could hear a scream, it wasn't a scared scream or a sad one, it was more like an excited one. Sophie was screaming in excitement after what Anadil had told her, -shhh, stop screaming- says Anadil, -who is it?!, who do you want to ask?- says Sophie, -it's not important- said Anadil, -well of course it's important dear, not everyone has the same like's and dislikes- said Sophie, Anadil pauses for a while thinking that maybe she should tell her, it's not that embarrassing she's just asking for help to ask someone to the dance, it's not like she actually likes Hester, right? I mean just because she blushes every time they touch, and gets jealous when she and Alex make eye contact, and gets nervous when Dot calls her out on it doesn't mean that she has a crush on... oh sh*t, she does have a crush on Hester, and she's just been too stubborn to admit it. -Anadil darling- says Sophie, -Hester- says Anadil in a hushed whisper but loud enough so Sophie can hear, then she grabs books her and bolts through the door, rushes through the corridors with her books tightly pressed against her chest and rushes in to her dorm closing the door behind her. Anadil notices Dot startled -you were right- says Anadil as she runs face down on her bed, -what?- says Dot while munching on chocolate, -you were right about me, about Hester, about us- says Anadil lifting her head from her bed and slowly sitting up, -well of course I was right, I just was waiting for you to admit it- says Dot dropping her chocolate -so are you gonna ask her to the dance?-,  -yes, no, I don't know... i just talked to Sophie about it- says Anadil, -YOU TALKED TO SOPHIE ABOUT ASKING HESTER TO THE DANCE- screams Dot, -shhhh not so loud, and yes I did talk to her, but I left before she could react to me saying I was going to ask Hester- says Anadil just before Hester comes in.

Hester starts studying as she notices Dot and Anadil giving each other strange glares between each other, like they were hiding something, could it have something to do with the things Raven and Vex were whispering about? , they said something about Ani, if it's anything bad I swear they are going to regret it. Hester just realizes that she has been staring at Anadil for a while now and Anadil looks sideways at her so Hester quickly looks away and feels her cheeks start to heat up and touches her face, she feels a nervous smile start to come up but holds it in making her jaw tighten, what the hell was that? she thought. 

On the next day when they are already in their classrooms they are informed that the teacher is feeling ill so this period will be free, says one of the wolfs as he closes the classroom door and locks it, -do they always lock us in when there no teacher- says Alex to Hester, -when they don't wanna deal with us- says Hester, the classroom almost immediately starts erupting with noise and a few papers are being thrown around. Until theres a loud noise coming from the chalkboard, Vex is tapping the blackboard eraser against it, -HEY- he says, -since were all stuck here for a hour I say we play 7 minutes of heaven- , the never's give confused glares, -thats a ever game- says a boy from the back, -thats way I say we should do it, but with the old closet- says Vex, all of the never's heads turn to the back to see the rusty old closet that has been there for at least 4 years, during those years students sometimes throw trash or unfinished lunches in there, it has never been cleaned out, and rarely opened. Looking back on it a few of the students gag. eventually all of the students agree to play, but conditioned that they would back out if anyone vomits in there,-7 minutes of heaven? more like 7 minutes of hell- Hester whispers into Anadil ear, she laughs and whispers something back making them both laugh . Alex grabs a bottle and sits down in the circle with the rest of the class -got it- he says, Raven spins the bottle and it landed on two unfortunate victims, both boys. Once the door is open and they enter the horrifying stench comes out, making a few students gag again. The minutes pass and a few more students go in (including Dot and Anadil who went in together, Dot almost vomited on Anadil while in there but Anadil managed to talk about chocolate witch seemed to calm her down), -we've got time for one more round- says Raven as he looks at the clock, so he spins the bottle and it lands on Alex. he spins it again and it lands on... Hester? Anadil? not sure since they were pretty close together and the bottle lands in between them. Anadil really hopes its not her since she doesn't want to go in there again but at the same time she doesn't want it to be Hester since she doesn't want her to go in there with Alex. Alex on the other hand really wants it to be Hester, since this could help him on his bet, its only about the bet right? I mean of course its only about the bet, he couldn't possibly like her in any other way, she's not like most of the girls he's dated, most of them fall right at his feet, but not Hester ( well it could also have to do that most of the girls he's dated weren't never's ) his good looks weren't enough to get her attention thats why he doesn't like her, right? but maybe... -heads or tales- Vex says to Anadil as he takes out a coin from his pocket, -tales- Anadil says doubtingly, Vex flips the coin and it lands on... heads, -Hester, Alex you're up- says Vex, -is it really that bad?- says Hester to Anadil, -you'll see soon enough- says Anadil, Hester groans as she stands up. Meanwhile Alex grabs a can of colon from his backpack and sprays it on, especially in the neck area, a few of the never's stare at him, -what? it's to help with the smell- says Alex. Finally the door to the closet is open, they both go inside covering their noses as Vex closes the door behind them and locks them in. -oh dammit it smells like shit- says Hester as she covers her mouth and nose with her hand, - is that spaghetti?- says Alex pointing at something stuck to the wall, - it looks more like dog poop that was smushed through a grater and put into soup- says Hester as she realized that the closet is much smaller and tighter than it looked from the outside, since she was almost pressed against Alex's chest and their faces were pretty close. a few minutes pass -well this isn't to bad... the smell I mean!- says Alex, -says the guy who's covered in colon- says Hester as she looks Alex up and down, -did you just check me out?- says Alex smiling, -for that there would have to be something TO check out- says Hester, -ouch- says Alex in a jokingly way -okay but admit it the colon helps with the smell-, Hester just rolls her eyes and says -i guess- quietly , -Anadil smelled nice today, does she use any colon?- asked Alex, -why would you care?- said Hester a bit to aggressively, and without realizing it moved her face closer than it already was to his, Alex's hand suddenly grabbed her cheek and jaw and kisses her, "shit why did I do that" he though "I though I was just doing this for the bet, I am aren't I? well... but... i.... fuck... screw the bet", he feels Hester's confused hand pushing him away (well as far as she can, cause like I said the closet isn't exactly a mansion) before she can say anything the closet door is open. Vex and the others peer in at a safe distance, to not experience to much of the smell, Alex quickly without looking back gets out and heads out of the classroom and into the hallway. Hester then proceeds get out of the closet and close the door without saying a word. the bell rings. -so was the smell to bad?- says Anadil to Hester and once she hears her voice she snaps back to reality , -could be worse, like that mysterious green blob Dot once brought to the dorm by accident- says Hester, -hey, we don't talk about that- says Anadil, -It was a rainy day when Dot found something in the garden...- says Hester, -NO!- says Anadil, -I'm kidding Ani- Hester says teasingly.

Alex runs trough the hallways and heads straight to the bathroom. And just stares into the mirror to think about what just happened "she pushed me away, so that must mean she doesn't like me, but at the same time it seemed she got jealous when I said something about Anadil.  wait so I am feeling something for her? but I just met her a few day ago, but do I or do I not like her? ugh, why did I have to agree to that stupid bet". the bathroom door opens and Raven steps in, -come to vomit? the closet was pretty bad- says Raven, Alex doesn't respond, -looks like you have more of chance of winning than me- , -what?- responds Alex, -the Bet I mean... it's like everything I say gives her a reason to hit me, what is wrong with that witch-says Raven, -what did you just say?- says Alex closing up on Raven, -calm down bud, i just meant that she should loosen up a bit- says Raven, -and you think somethings wrong with her?- says Alex a little more aggressively, -I mean yeah- says Raven, before Raven can react Alex's fist is already at his jaw, and Raven stumbles back to then throw a punch in Alex's direction, and he does the same and slams Raven against the wall and punches him, Raven fights back and things switch, one thing leads to another and they're fighting on the floor.

Classes end and Hester and Anadil head to the library to study as usual, and she tries to ignore what happened in the closet as much as she can, and thinks, shel deal with it once she sees Alex. Hester notices her leg is brushing with Anadil's and feels her cheeks heat up, then she glances sideways and notices Anadil's white cheeks with a spot of pink, why the hell was that happening?. -Im gonna go to the bathroom- says Hester, -okay- says Anadil, Hester heads out trying to not look back at Anadil and on her way to the bathroom she start thinking about something Alex said, about Anadil using colon, and remembers it made her feel a sort of mad, why would it make her feel mad? she thought it could mean Alex was interested in Ani, she doesn't want that, she would't like for Ani to be with Alex, she wasn't jealous she just didn't want her to be with him... well actually she would't want her to be with Vex either, and the more she thought about it any boy for that matter, I mean if Hester was a boy she could imagine her with Ani she thought. but that doesn't mean... wait... no....no no no no.... i doesn't make sense...she can't like her... no...shit... she likes Anadil... no no no no no. Hester punches the wall as she feels her demon pop out, and proceeds to quickly head back to her dorm, on her way knocks into a certain albino, -woah were are you going so fast- says Anadil, -i... uh... um...-says Hester staring deep into the albino's eyes until she works up the courage to say 2 words,-gotta go- she says as she rushes past the albino and heads straight to the dorm. As she enters Dot heads out quickly without a doubt once she realizes Hester is pissed, angry confused and needs to let it out in the form of anger, ansd Dot did not want to be her punching bag.
