Wrong Ties [Austin Porter]

Final goodbye

One year later

I sat in my cell waiting for them to take me the visiting area. I'm been very grateful that they didn't put me in a mental hospital I was not going to take any pills they offered me and I wasn't going crazy I truly loved her and she is my love.

"PORTER UP" the officer yelled at me

"How are you" I smiled while they put the cuffs on

"No talking" he pushed me the way of the visitor room

We walked in silence. My mind kept racing I know every other week she comes to visit me but if she came again then what. I knew she truly loved me because she kept coming back. When we turned the corner I seen her sitting there.

She wore a pink tight but not to tight dress. She had gotten thicker over the years I loved watching how she looked. They sat me down and locked the chains to the table.

"You missed me" I said

"She wants you to sign these" she handed me papers

"What are they" I looked at them then back at her

"Divorce papers" she said and I shook my head

"Do you have a pen" she handed me the pen and I signed the papers

I never loved her I just was trying to get over Aloha then kids popped up. Couldn't have the woman I was sleeping with alone and then have my kids. So I stayed and then proposed to her.

"Anything else" I said after I finished

"Your kids are fine, we all live together I'll put some money on your books and I'll be back next week to check up on you" she said then stood up and left

I didn't care how long I was staying in here. I knew I was going crazy when she came back then when she popped up pregnant but not with just anybody it just had to be with Brandon and he paid the price.

I just got back home and have Ansley the papers.

"Thank you" she had tears in her eyes

"Girl I got you and the kids" I hugged her

"Why do you visit him every week he killed her husband" she said looking at me like I was crazy

"I forgive because he is not well but rather go to jail then the hospital, Austin will return normal one day just not now" I said

"Your assistant called" she said

"Thank you" I walked away and up to my kids room

I looked at them as they took three naps. With it being summer they like to take a nap and stay up all night the. Stay up all day. I closed the door and went to my office.

"We are fine Brandon" I kissed the photo on my desk and got to work
