Okay, so here goes. I'm gonna post a little bit of the story and have you guys tell me if you want more.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh my god, she's beautiful. No, beyond that; she's gorgeous. She had this long shimmery red hair that could make your eyes pop. And her body, oh god her body. She was slim yet slightly toned. I'd never seen her around before, I would have surely remembered her. Okay, I'm getting ahead of myself here. Lets start from the beginning.
I was at my then boyfriends house getting ready to break things off. We had been dating for two years, ever since freshman year of college. But as of late I now know why I never enjoyed our time together. I was wasting my time with the douche and I thoroughly regret it. All the times he blew me off to go hang with the guys I could have been enjoying my college years just like he was. But the controlling prick would never let me leave the fucking house. I tried to get away from him but you can imagine how hard that is in our close-knit college town. But this time is different. This time I brought my two best friends to help the process a little.
Eddie and Jamie were outside at 12 o'clock on the dot as I'd instructed them earlier that day. I knew Ricky, my boyfriend, would be well into REM sleep by then and I would have a better shot at sneaking out undetected. I know it may seem a little extreme, but I can't take any chances. Ricky has a horrible temper that would sometimes end in my having to cover up a very noticeable mark visible to all. I just can't do it anymore.
While listening to his deep breathing, I slid out of the bed fully clothed. I reached under the bed to grab the bag I had packed earlier. It contained most of the things I need for about two months; I'll get the rest later. As I finally wrapped my hands around the handle of the door, I heard a faint grunt and then a very loud "what the hell are you doing?!" Damn...I was caught. But I'm not about to give up now. I'm too close to freedom.
I rushed out of the bedroom with Ricky practically at my heels. But I wasn't about to let him catch me. Not this time. I made it through the living room safely and the only barrier between a happy life and a miserable one was the front door. I began to scream at the top of my lungs just to alarm my friends that something's going on in here. Then I felt Ricky's firm grip on my wrist and I was jerked back with incredible force. This can't be happening. Fuck!
Ricky had jerked me so hard I'd already felt the heavy pain. I was soon on the floor from it with Ricky standing over me like an animal getting ready for a feast. Tears flooded my eyes, but not for what was to come, but for the fact that I was almost done with all of this. I was almost free, dammit.
"So...so...you think you can get away from me that easily? You think I'm just gonna let you go?" He said a bit disoriented.
I could say nothing; I had to sit there and hear him rant on.
"You fucking whore bitch! Where were you going? Huh? Going to see another guy?!"
"You're not going anywhere. Ever."
Before his words registered, I found myself being dragged toward the kitchen area. I was speechless. What was I to do? Get up and fight? Believe me I've tried before and it only makes things worse. But this time seems different. It seems somewhat final.
We reached the kitchen before I could collect an ounce of an idea to get out of this mess. He let go of me and walked somewhere towards the silverware. Nows my chance. I can't make it, though. He's already heading back towards me. It's over.
I close my eyes in anticipation of what is to come. I know it can't be good considering where he's come from, but I try to remain hopeful. Suddenly I hear a bang. I'm not sure if I'm going insane or if this is real. It can't be. I'm just frightened, right? Wrong.
I hear an identical sound; no, more of a boom. Still, I struggle to open my eyes. You'd think I would have shot them open after the first sound. Soon, though, I manage to get them alert again and I almost wish I hadn't. There, standing before me, was the super popular, steroid-popping jock with a clearly loaded pistol. Aimed straight at me.
These sounds, were from the pistol, yes? Then he must've shot it, yes? He has shot me, then, yes? No. I couldn't break my fearful gaze from the gun before me, but I mustered up the courage to lift my hands to feel for any blood on my body. There was none. This all seemed to take forever, while in reality it was in a matter of seconds.
Ricky began to speak, but I could no longer hear his psychotic words. Either I was too horrified, or the movement my peripheral vision is catching was distracting me. I think the latter. I didn't lose sight of the gun as it moved slightly while Ricky was making his 'loving' speech. The creature had bright hair I believe. I couldn't make anything else out, seeing as though there was a bigger issue than an intruder at hand; my life.
The stranger crept closer and closer behind Ricky. Still, though, I couldn't react; there was too much at stake. "Babe, I love you. This is why I have to do this. So we can be together forever...in heaven." More like hell, I had just finished thinking to myself when I saw the intruder in full view taking down Ricky.
The gun flew in the air as they went down. In a split second, I lunged for it taking it in my grasp. Not really having ever held a gun, I wasn't sure how to exactly use it, but Ricky didn't know that and I damn sure wasn't about to let it show.
After coming up off the floor, I got my first actual glance at my saving grace. The beautiful red head who had just saved my life. Did I mention she was beautiful? My gosh, but right now things had to get dealt with, mainly getting the hell out of here! Where the hell are Eddie and Jamie? It's about thirty minutes after the designated "bust-in and save my ass"time. Some friends.
But luckily, I have this complete stranger to help. Where did she come from anyway?
The stranger quickly rose to her feet; like a freaking ninja or something. She ran over to my side and took the gun away from my hands. She could obviously see through my 'bad ass' front. She held the gun with such strength and confidence that it was a little disturbing how familiar she was with the thing.
"Get out of here, now!" She said in my direction, but still keeping the gun and her eyes on Ricky, who pathetically lay on the floor still. I decided to head towards the door with my backside leading the way. I didn't want to miss anything that I might later have to report to the police.
The stranger held the gun with one hand, while the other reached for the phone. She speedily dialed what I assume to be 911. After taking a mental picture of this whole scene, I exited the house quickly. I ran out onto the lawn and realized I hadn't been breathing throughout the entire ordeal. A deep sigh came easily and I felt so much relief.
Police cars soon flooded the street, taking in Ricky and examining and questioning the stranger and myself. I was so ready to get this all done with.
After the policemen were all out of questions, there was one more: "do you have a safe place to stay tonight, m'am?" I pondered this for a second, and concluded my answer as "no." My family relationship was almost nonexistent, and I was definitely not going to Eddie or Jamie's house to make them feel guilty for not showing up. And I am most definitely not staying in Ricky's house.
I never want to step foot in that hell hole again.
"Uh, I have an extra room. She can stay with me." I turned around to find my savior smiling brightly at me. I couldn't help but smile at this gorgeous thing I owe my life to. "Is this okay, m'am" the questioning officer asked me. "Of course!" I said to him, while still focusing on the strangers smile.
