The final bell rung school was now over. Maya and Lucas went to Mr. Matthews's class for detention. No one was left in the hallways so Lucas gave Maya a quick kiss on the check. Maya kissed him back but closer to the lips. They saw a sign on the door that read "Sorry Detention Cancelled" Maya and Lucas were very happy but also curious of why detention was cancelled. Maya usually rides the subway but the next subway doesn't come until 2 hours later. Lucas doesn't have to take the subway cause he lives in the apartment complex across from the school. Lucas asked Maya if she wanted to come over to his house cause his parents were going to be gone all weekend. Maya accepted his offer and went over to his house. Maya laid on the couch. Five minutes later she fell asleep. Lucas decided to get a blanket and cover her up. He laid on the other end and covered up with the blanket Maya had but he used the extra part that she didn't use.
