Too Good for You: A Teenage Bucky FancFiction

Chapter Four

Veronicas POV:

"Please Daddy you have to let me go everyone's going to be there!" Sarah begged following him around the house. Veronica stood in the kitchen boiling pasta. 

"I said no Sarah, not on a school night!"

"But Daddy they have a special on Thursdays and I'm going to the drive-in tomorrow. Please!"

"I was invited to go to daddy." Veronica injected.

"What?!" They both said.

"My friends invited me to go bowling with them too and it would be a good chance for me to get used to the social climate."

"If Roni's going daddy I'm going too!" Sarah yelled

"Fine you can both go but no boys! No drinking! No smoking! And be back by curfew" He said hand on his head.

"Yes!!" Thank you so much, daddy!"

She knew Sarah would most likely be breaking most of those rules. Veronica didn't know yet what would happen.

They finished dinner and Veronica was running her fingers through her curls getting ready to put them back into her regular ponytail. 

"You should wear your hair down Roni it's getting so long now."

It was true her hair took up most of her back.

"I was always jealous of you Roni you have such good hair." She giggled now sitting behind her.

"Here," she said placing a white headband in Veronica's hair.

"Turn around Roni if your going out you might as well put on some makeup." She said brushing a light layer of blush onto her cheeks and mascara on her eyelashes." 

"Don't want any lipstick, Sarah."

"Fine, your lucky I let you out of the house sometimes with no makeup and your hair in that plain ponytail. You could be so envious Roni." 

"Mhm," She replied as Sarah walked away to finished getting herself ready.

They made it to the bowling alley just after 6. Sarah was never on time but of course, everyone waited for her anyway. The alley was crowded and it took a while for v\Veronica to find her friends after Sarah went off with Joey and hers.

"Roni!" Abbey squealed once she saw her. She was standing with the rest of their friends Polly, Jo, and Midge. 

They all hugged her and they walked over to their bowling lane where the boys already were. 

"Roni this is Bobby, Paul, Charlie and Will." She said introducing her to each of the boys

"Boys this is Veronica." They all greeted her nicely before Jo asked, "Say wheres Bucky?" 

"Oh he's over there choosing his precious bowling ball" Charlie teased motioning to Bucky whole was standing by the bowling balls weighing them in his hands another cigarette hanging out of his mouth. 

"The boys like to have a little competition first then we join in and play for fun," Midge explained as the other boys walked over to where Bucky was to choose their balls. 

"But Bucky always wins" Polly teased "No matter what ball he uses" 

Sometime passed  Bucky continued to stay in the lead with their bowling match-winning strike after strike.

"I don't understand what we have to wait for them before we can play," Veronica complained.

"Trust me, Roni, its better this way. Then their egos aren't so big once we play against them." Abbey said.
