Chapter 42 Just Say I Do

         I smiled at Finn ad Flame Princess because they were able to hold hands without any pain for the first time. "I can't believe this is real." Finn smiled and kissed Flame Princess's forehead. I looked at Marshall who was burying Flame Prince. He didn't seem like he wanted to do it. I looked over at Bonnie and Bubba who were also holding hands and watching Marshall. Jake and Cake were sitting on the ground, and Fionna and Fianna were talking. Marshall finished and walked over.

"Hey." I said, as he hugged me. "You know I'm still kind of mad that you did that to me."

"I told you I'm sorry..." And it sounded like he did and he hugged me tighter. I looked over his shoulder and saw Flame Princess lighting fire around Flame Prince's grave. "That's so sad." Marshall looked too.

"Ya, a bit."

"Hi you guys." Fionna walked over with Fianna.

"You know... I should've kidnapped Fionna instead of you." Fionna told Marshall laughing and hugging on Fionna. "She is so adorable."

"Haha..." Fionna blushed as Fianna kissed her cheek.

"You guys are so cute together." Bonnie came over holding Gumball's hand.

"Thank you." Fianna said happily as Fionna was redder than a tomato.

"You better calm down miss tomato." Marshall teased as he practically read my mind.

"Oh quit it." Fionna faced away.

"So what are you two going to do now?" I asked Bonnie and Bubba.

"I...I don't know, I guess I have to stay at Gumball's place in Aaa."

"Ok, are you going to rebuild Candy Kingdom here? I mean you have always lived here." Her expression changed and she looked to the ground. She was silent and I probably already knew the answer. "Never mind, I hope you enjoy Aaa. I will miss you." I went to hug her and she looked at me with tears in her eyes. She grabbed me tightly and cried softly.

"It's hard to see my kingdom in rubble, it's always been here for so long. It was my home. It shared many great memories." I giggled remembering the times we pulled pranks.

"I guess it's time to create new memories in Gumball's Kingdom." I pulled out of the hug and smiled at her.

"Your right." She looked at him. "I guess this is goodbye for now." I nodded.

"Cake can you take them?" Fionna asked.

"Oh yes, get on sugars." Cake grew and picked up both of them to put on her back.

"Catch you all later." They waved.

"Wait! Before anyone else leaves!" Marshall stepped up a bit. 

"What is it?" I asked confused.

"I mean't to do this a while back but never had the chance..." He smiled at me.

"Huh?" I looked at everyone and they were all a Cheshire cat.

"I love you so much Marceline, I know we had our bad moments but..." He knelt down on his knee. Are you kidding me!? I blushed and started to cry. "Will you be mine forever Marceline Abadeer?" I covered my mouth and nodded my head.

"You know that was really cheesy though right?" I asked him and I heard everyone awing in the background.

"Don't worry, I couldn't get a ring either." He got up and kissed me. I laughed as everyone wolf whistled.

"So, when are you having it?" Flame Princess asked.

"What about 2 weeks?" Marshall held me tightly.

"That's really quick." I laughed.

"Sooner the better right?"

"Yes he is right! Oh glob two weeks! We have to go shopping!" Flame Princess jumped around. I looked at Marshall.

"What colors are we doing?"

"Black and red?"

"You read my mind." I smirked.

"Good luck you two, see you soon." Bonnie waved. Cake turned around and started for Aaa. I looked at Fionna, Fianna, and Flame Princess.

"So you want to go shopping with me?"

"Yes!" They all said happily.

"That means you can have a guys hangout." I said to Marshall.

"Oh come on, when do I ever hang out with guys?" He joked.

"Since now." I began to walk away.

"Wait, what are we supposed to do about the rubble?" Fianna asked.

"Oh..." 

"Marceline?" Flame Princess touched my arm.

"Ya?" I turned towards her.

"How did you cast a fire retardant spell?" I looked at Marshall. "Let's just say Flambo was watching Flame Prince and wanted us to stop him. Then bam, we have it on."

"Flambo?"

"Ya."

"Why would he be here? He's supposed to stay with my old fire kingdom. I think he was watching him because... wait it wasn't Flambo."

"What do you mean it wasn't Flambo?" I asked.

"Because Flambo was my best friend when I still lived in the Fire Kingdom. That's means it was his Friend."

"That doesn't make any sense, why would his friend want us to stop him?"

"Because...they probably knew he wouldn't have gotten better."

"That could be it."

"Ok enough with the chit chat let's go eat! I haven't eaten anything in forever!" Flame Princess threw her arms up behind her head.

"Ya!" We all agreed.

"What are we going to eat?" I asked as we followed her.

"No Idea!"

Alright fun chapter! Woo! Anyways it's almost the end of the book....but!  Some more fun will come soon enough before that happens. So I wanted to ask you a question. Who should Marceline's Maid Of Honor be?
