Once again, I went through my daily routine. Woke up to a call from (B/f), get ready, make sure I had an extra pair of clothes in my bag as well as other accessories, and then walk to school on the phone with (B/f) until I got to the gate, then I hung up.
Of course from there I was walking to class, I had my headphones in, making it clear I didn't want to talk to anyone. But of course, the damn captain and setter always somehow bumped into me. "Hey (Y/N), fancy meeting you here." I gave out a sigh and a tired look pointed to the said male. "Kuroo, were at school. Is it really that unusual?"
The said man didn't break a sweat and changed the topic easily. "Not the point. I was wondering if you wanted to eat breakfast with Kenma and I?" I took a glance at the time, seeing that I had a lot of time left before I had to be in my classroom. I nodded my head and hummed out a 'sure', following alongside the two boys.
Me and Kuroo got our food, and instead of finding a table we went near the gym, sitting on a bench very close to a snack machine. Kenma walked over to the snack machine, grabbing something from it, and then sitting in between me and Kuroo. Kuroo started to bring up random subjects while Kenma played on his game. Normally it was me responding while Kenma occasionally put his two cents in.
"Ya know, I think it's going to be fun going to go against Karasuno again. I know couch was freaking out about it." I hummed, tilting my head. "Karasuno? Is that another school?" Kuroo nodded his head in response. "Yea, were having a practice match against them Friday after school. Has couch not told you?" I shook my head no, then decided to ask Kuroo if the team was any good.
"Well, they used to be. They even made it to nationals once, but after their couch left they were deemed the 'wingless crows'. They used to be a powerhouse school, and during the time they were we had what they call 'trash showdowns'. We've basically been rivals with them for years." I nodded my head, absorbing the information. "So cats vs crow? That sounds interesting."
Kenma rolled his eyes, pausing his game to look me in the eyes. "Don't let Kuroo get you excited, they aren't the same anymore. They where the first ones to go home last year." He then packed up his DS, telling us that we were going to be late if we hanged around any longer.
Even at his last words, I didn't really rush, and neither did the other two boys. We threw away our trash and walked calmly through out the halls, which thankfully weren't that busy. Kuroo parted ways from me and Kenma early because of the different grade levels.
Once he did me and Kenma made small talk about this new video game that was supposed to come out next week. That was until we got to his class, which was just a room above mine. It didn't take too long for us to have to pause the conversation and say that we'll continue it later.
After I walked into the classroom I took a seat by the window, the same one I've been sitting in. I looked out the window, enjoying the scenery as I waited for the teacher to come in. Sadly, the peacefulness was disturbed not even a second later by the person next to me. "You're later than usual." I 'tsk'ed, not turning to face the feminine sounding voice.
"What of it." Even though it the phrase was used as a question, there was no hit of curiosity in my tone. "You don't have to be so cold," the person giggled out. "I was just saying. These past few days you've gotten here before me, but today you came five before class starts. You wake up late or something?" Their voice sounded light and humorous, almost care-free in a sense.
"No, I woke up at the same time I always do." The person hummed. "Just hanging out with friends then?" I opened my mouth to answer, but paused, thinking over my choice of words first. "I guess you could say that. They're more or so acquaintances, I haven't really known them for that long."
