Asking the questions

(Greyson POV) {A year later}

Anyone can feel that dad and Hope both have this great love connection, and she treats me like I'm her own child. She treats me better than my biological mom did.

Our team won the championships for the second time in a row. I've gotten closer to a lot of the girls on the Senior National Team and occasionally go with Hope to the camps when I'm allowed to.

Dad and I have talked about him getting her a ring to ask his question and I am more than ready for him to ask the question because she is a vital part of our lives now.

I wander around the house, going into the extra storage room that we have. All of my recording stuff is in there and I pull out the box and take it into my room. I set my mic and laptop up with all of my tracks on it and start making a song (Song above). When I get done, I remix a track over top of the copy of the original that I made and listen to what is played.

When I opened my eyes, I automatically knew it was going to be a good day. Dad was taking us out tonight and I know that he's planning on asking her and I couldn't be any more excited. I threw on a white shirt with black jeans and combat boots before braiding my hair. I looked in the mirror at my appearance and smile. Looking even harder at my eyes in the mirror, deciding that I wanted to show the full me, with my multicolored eyes. I have sectoral heterochromia in one eye and central heterochromia in the other.

Stumbling through the hallway, almost landing on my face from tripping over my feet, I whip my head up as laughter rang though the house. I fully stand up and then give finger guns to the all too familiar face.

"Hey Hope" I greet the older goalkeeper as I walk over to where she's sitting.

"Hey Grey" she gives me a confused look as I look into her eyes before wrapping my arms around her torso and her arms return the gesture.

"Your eyes?"

 "My natural colors, not contacts like normal" she nods as she kisses my forehead and I then rest my head on her chest, listening to her heartbeat until dad comes out. Hearing a few clicks come from the hallway that I recently walked out of my head snaps up to see my dad with the camera pointing towards us and I stick my tongue out as he takes another picture.
