Don't pick up the phone

Well I don't remember much of that night I don't even know how I am even alive from this event you would have surely thought that I would have died like the others in this case it's the real opposite I didn't die,

It all started one night I went to a friend house she had a party it was a blast this year kicked off with a bang,

My crush even showed up to the party I went over to go talk to him we had a lot in common we talked for hours,

But suddenly the home phone rang everyone was silent as I picked it up,

"H-hello" I answered in a scared tone, everyone was listening to what I had to say, no response so I hung up the phone,

A phew minutes later the phone rings again I went to pick it up for the second time no answer, now I definitely knew someone was prank calling us, it rang again I picked it up with anger I said in a rude tone

"Okay what do you want this isn't funny anymore,"

"I want to hear you scream, I want to hear you cry" some deep voice it sounded familiar,

"w..w-what"

Then they hung up then we heard a gun shot it hit someone I didn't know this person everyone ran out screaming I know I had to keep calm and I called the Emergency department (Ambulance)

"Ambo's aren't going to help you not today, I'm watching your every move as well" what was happening today, why, how this person must be smart to hack the ambulance number some sort of system they must encrypted and change the codes for numbers on everyone's phone,

I ran outside I threw my phone far away as I could I told the people that were hiding in the house I told them to give me there phones because there tracking and watching our every move soon after I threw all the phones away I made sure everyone was inside and in hiding,

I yelled "NOBODY MOVE STAY WHERE YOU ARE"

My friend and I made sure the doors windows where locked and secured then when we went to hide we heard a knock at the door some girl went to open it but nobody was there is she was shot I rushed over to her and helped her and my friend Melissa locked the door and went to the kitchen to try and help with the girls wound,

I yelled again "IF YOU HEAR ANY NOISES STAY WHERE YOU ARE DON'T GO ANYWHERE NEAR THE DOORS OR WINDOWS"

Everyone did what I said to do we heard another knock I went in the lounge room and tried to move the couch a guy called Jack helped me move it near the door, this was turning into a horror movie and it wasn't so great we heard another shot,

I yelled "IS EVERYONE ALRIGHT"

Someone was yelling help I ran upstairs someone else was shot I took them down stair into the kitchen the other girl was stitched up and she was ok for now, then the home phone rang again

"Melissa can you help this person I will be back" She nodded,

"you think that all of you are going to live think again I will not stop until your all dead"

I said, "what do you get out of this,"

The voice said "cash," And then hung up on me,

I went back to the kitchen to check if the person Melissa was stitching up was, she going to be okay Melissa said "It only hit her in the leg she will be okay"

I went upstairs to get everyone into the 2-lounge room downstairs it was the most secure part of the house I forgot to mention Melissa had a massive house, but not the point anyway everyone huddled into small groups,

I said " THIS IS SOMETHING WE HAVE TO FACE WE MIGHT NOT EVEN MAKE IT OUT ALIVE, IF ANYONE OF US LEAVE THIS HOUSE WELL YOU WILL DIE, THIS IS NOT A TIME TO LAUGH THIS IS A SERIOUS MATTER WE HAVE TWO ALREADY THAT ARE INJURED AND THIS PERSON IS GETTING PAID FOR EACH ONE OF US TO BE DEAD, I AM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHO IS DOING THIS, JUST NOBODY GO OUTSIDE,"

We heard another gun shot this time it came from the back,

"WHO DIDN'T FRICKING LOCK THE BACK DOOR"

I quickly ran to lock it, I nearly got hit luckily, I didn't, I ran to the lounge room, nobody made any noise it was very quiet someone had a question,

"Um... how come you aren't ringing the home phone like why you aren't calling the police?"

I said "well its kind of hard when someone has hacked the hole entire line" 

The phone then rang again but even louder i said 

"NOBODY PICK UP THE PHONE" 

it kept ringing and ringing it got louder and louder then it stopped and we heard a gun shot but everyone was okay and safe for now.
