Unexpected encounter

We got ready and left the house looking like goddesses knowing we may come across a guy by accident.

"You ready to have a wild night girl."

"I sure i am."

I said in a confident tone. From today i promised myself i will become a better person and be a better mother for my son.

We arrived at the club 10 minutes later and it was packed. There were many creeps but as i looked further into the club i saw my boss but he wasnt alone, he was drinking something and talking to a women. I thought nows is my chance to show alaia my boss.

"Hey Al you see that guy there thats my boss."

I said to Alaia pointing him out.

"Godamn you got yourself a fine peice of meat."

"Umm Alaia you're forgetting something, he's my boss."

"So what can a girl not have fun."

She said making her way through the swarm of people. I rolled my eyes at her then followed her to get a drink.
After all i came here to celebrate and get drunk not drool over my boss.

Alaia was a lightweight so she was drunk just after a few shots. She was dancing with some stranger swaying her hips. I was tipsy but not drunk.

Few drinks later.

"Woohoo this is so much fun."

I screamed from on top of the bar.

Next thing you know im completely drunk dancing my ass off on the bar completely ignoring the fact that practically the whole bar is watching me.

"Miss you need to get off this bar you're ruining it."

Said the bartender frustrated.

It was at that moment where my fun night turned into the most embarrassing time of my life. My boss saw me being delusional and approached me.

Of course i was drunk so i said many things to him i knew i would regret the next day but he simply lifted me off the counter like i weighed nothing and carried me to the side.

"Rory rory what have you gotten yourself into you have work tommorow."

Said liam looking into my eyes. I looked down on the floor and played with my hair.

"S s sorryy i w wont let it h happen again."

I said.

My words were slurred and messy and before i could even get a word out of my mouth i collapsed straight onto the marble floor. So much for having the time of my life.

"Rory wake up wake up."

I Heard a voice saying in the distance. I woke up and saw myself in a different place.

"Huh where am i."

I shouted. I woke up to the sight of my boss shirtless with joggers that hung just below his waist. He approached  me with a soft smile and gave me water.

"Umm why am i here and why did you take me away from the bar, i was having fun."

I said angrily.

"Oh ye well you fainted so i carried you to my home."

I sighed then asked him where Alaia was.

"Oh yeah your friend well my bodyguard took her to her house."

"Wait how did you know she was my friend."

I asked confused.

"Well i saw you showing me to her and of course i caught you staring."

He said arrogantly.

What a cocky bastard. I rolled my eyes at him then drank the water he kindly gave me.

"Im sorry for being such an in convenience i wont let this happen again."

"Hey its ok your my assistant now so i will help you whenever you need it."

He said in a soft tone. I could see the sincerity in his eyes and knew he really did care about my well being.

" Its 8 o clock time for you to work, well thats if you want to."

"What 8 oclock how will i get ready."
I shouted.

"Oh i have the womens uniform with me so here you go."

He lended me some clothes to wear then left the room. I got changed then called Alaia to see if she was alright.

"Mr fairwood im just going to call a cab to drop me off if thats ok with you."

I asked Mr fairwood.

"Call me liam and i will drop you off , after all were heading to the same place."

"Ok then thankyou."

"Its my pleasure Rory."

A shiver went down my spine as my name rolled of his tongue. He said it in such a seductive tone that no one but him could accomplish. How did god create such a human. Sometimes i wonder if he even is a human.

We got into his Audi then drove off. It was a sunny day and i wanted to enjoy it but i had a killer hangover which held me back.

We reached my work place and liam showed me where i had to work and told me what i had to do. He sent me a file of things i had to sort out.

I had to get all the mental work done before i could get into anytjing physical. This wasnt anything i hadn't done before so it was easy. I finished the work within an hour then got and email from my boss.

'I forgot to tell you but every morning you have to bring me coffee. I prefer just black coffee.'

I rolled my eyes at the choice of coffee he picks every morning. I mean who drinks straight up black coffee. I texted him back saying,

'ok thankyou ill keep that in mind.'

I closed my laptop then decided to walk around the building and meet new people as i finished my work. Im sure liam wouldn't mind. I walked out of my office and saw a short brunnette at the desk. I was guessing she was the receptionist.

"Hi my name is Rory whats your name."

"Oh hello pleasure to meet you im Lilah, im guessing your the new Agent."

"Yes i am."

She seemed really friendly and i thought we could become good friends.

"So you finished work we can grab some lunch together."

Asked lilah.

"Sure why not im really hungry."

She got off her desk then led me to the cafe area. Wow this building is really huge.

"Oh hello Rory i see you made a new friend, do you mind if i join you."

I looked back and saw Liam holding his lunch waiting for my reply as i sat there awkwardly drooling over him.

"Oh uhh sure."

I said.

He sat down whilst Lilah started talking to me but my mind was focused on the fact that my boss had his hands on my lap.
