We were driving home.

I felt the car start slowing down.

"Oh shit". I mumbled

"GAH DAMN MARLOW!" Lani yelled.

"I'm sorry! I thought we would be able to make it home.

She huffed.

"Marlow, we already got some crazy ass demonic nigga chasing after you, and we gotta deal with this".

I looked at her slowly.

"I FORGOT ABOUT HIM!!" I yelled.

I started to panic.

"Woah, marlow breathe, I was joking".

"You might be joking but I'm serious, when I was walking out of the menchies, I swear I saw his eyes turn black".

She looked at me wide eyed.

I sighed.

"We should have never came out tonight bro". I said.

We looked at each other and busted out laughing.

"Bitch, he gon kill us". I said laughing

"Deadass". She replied back laughing too.

Our laughter died down.

"Yea but we should really call some people for help". I said

"You right". She replied getting out the car while pulling out her phone.

I got on my phone while I her Lani talking to the people on the phone.

I happened to look up.

I seen headlights in front of us.

The car started to slowly stop.

I started to panic thinking it was Leo.

"Shit, Lani get in the car". I said.

She quickly hopped in the passengers seat.

I looked in the drivers seat seeing.

Jahseh....

I sighed.

Well it's better than Leo.

"What y'all doing this late out?" He asked looking at me.

I happened to look in the backseat, seeing the guy with the durag on.

"Um, my car broke down". I replied looking back at him.

He stared me for a minute, thinking.

"Hop in". He said.

I shook my head.

"What about my car?" I asked.

"I'll have that at your house in the morning, just get in". He said looking ahead of him.

I nodded undoing my seatbelt.

Lani hopped in the backseat, while I hopped in the passengers seat next to jahseh.

"Thank you". I said while smiling at him.

He smiled back at me, and nodded.

We were now on the highway.

I felt jahseh place his right hand on my thigh.

I looked up at him, but he kept his eyes on the road.

Moments later we arrived at my house.

Lani got out of the car.

I looked up to see durag boy slumped.

I looked back at jahseh seeing him smoking a cigarette.

I scrunched up my face.

He looked at me before I could say anything.

"Don't even". He said

I giggled while he laughed.

I looked up into his eyes.

"Jah, are you high?" I asked laughing

"No". He laughed some more.

"I'm just tired". He replied again.

I was about to get out until he said something.

"You know somebody named Leo?"

I stopped moving, and so did my heart for a second.

"N-no, why?" I lied.

"Well, he wanted me to let you know, that he's looking for you". He said looking at me confused.

"O-okay, thanks for the ride jah". I said.

"Wait, can I have a hug?" He asked innocently.

I smiled and nodded.

He pulled me into a warm hug.

Yep he was definitely high.

"See you tomorrow". He said

"Bye". I said back.

I walked into the house.

"You wanna just stay the night". I asked lani.

"Yea". She replied.

"Let's watch some Netflix". I said

"On my block?" She asked

"Bet". We both said as we raced upstairs.
