Chapter 1: The Beginning

Mira Nakamura was a hero in the making. A small local hero with a big future ahead of her.

Using her quirk, force, to move things and people without touching them, combined with years of marital arts she made a pretty bad ass hero.

She didn't attend U. A. which made it even more difficult to be a hero.

But with hard work and determination, she manged to get contacted by one of the best hero agency in Tokyo, move out of her small town, live in the big city and save people.

She even got to work side and hang out with some of the veterans like Grand Torino and Crimson Riot.

And she made friends with the other rookies like Yamada Hizashi (Present Mic), Nemuri Kayama (Midnight) and Shota Aizawa (EraserHead). They had each been working for about 6 months together.

But it all changed when she got partnered up with the greatest hero(in the making), the future symbol of peace himself:

Toshinori Yagi, All Might.

People freaked out over him, where ever he went.

And actually him and Mira grew close.

They got in the habit of meeting up for a lunch break up top of their favorite building. And they took turns bringing lunch for each other.They would try and get paired up on purpose for their patrols.
And talk hours after work on the phones.
They got close enough to stay at each other's apartments for a movie night, and wake up the next morning, cuddling in each other's arms.
And Toshinori trusted her enough to tell her about his quirk and his past.

They had really grown to love each other, but there hero work prevented them from becoming anything more.

Two years later, Toshinori got news that he was being relocated to The United States for eight months.

Mira knocked on Toshinori's door before opening it to reveal the apartment to be empty of all his belongings.

"Almost finished packing?" She asked closing the door behind her.

"Yeah, pretty much" he said looking around the room.

"I'm really going to miss you, Toshinori" she said sitting on the edge of the bed, "promise not to forget about me?"

"Eight months will go by fast, you'll see," he said sitting next to her and taking her hand, "and how can I ever forget about you?" He placed his hand on her cheek wiping off a tear as he leaned in and connected their lips.

The first couple of weeks were hard for both of them, but they got by through daily phone calls and good night texts.

But soon, Mira's calls got sent to voice mail, and unanswered text from Toshinori for hours turning into days.

One day she went through her daily morning routine.

Shower, change into hero outfit, do hair, brush teeth, and do make up.

She checked her calendar for today's schedule while brushing her teeth.

'Crap.'

She dropped her toothbrush and set her phone aside as she quickly rinse her mouth, and dryed her hands.

She grabbed her phone with trembling hands and counted the days on her calendar.

'it was supposed come today... I'm late? Maybe it's just one day... maybe it'll come tomorrow'
