I look back on all the memories we made
And I wonder if you do the same
Like those times you came to visit me
Claiming there were no strings attached
Ah, those were the days
When we could talk about anything
There were no worries at all
Because our friendship was strong
But even though we were just friends
We knew this day would come
When all else would fail
Forced to live a life on the run
On the run from our feelings
Our friendship
Plutonic buddies from the beginning
Only to be broken in the end
I wish we could have been more
But maybe we were meant for this
Soulmates to be buried by the shore
Washed away by the ocean's kiss
