"H-hey, why don't we talk this out?" Ray stammered.
"You owe me a bag of mini Kit Kats." I stated.
"Why?" He asked.
"You stopped me from killing Liam." I narrowed my eyes at him.
"Fine. One bag of mini Kit Kats for you, Killer." He rolled his eyes.
"Excuse me?" I stared at him in shock.
"You heard me, Killer." He smirked.
"Don't wear out the name." I warned him.
At that, I started walking down the hallway.
"Wait!" He called out.
"What?" I turned around.
"What about your dagger?" He asked.
"Oh yeah, give it back. I don't trust that you know how to used an actual balanced dagger." I grabbed my dagger, sliding it in my pocket and started walking away.
~~~~~~~Class~~~~~~~
I had almost finished sketching out a wolf when the math teacher called on me.
"Miss Blanca?" He asked.
"Yes?" I looked up.
"Please solve the equation on the board. It should take you a couple minutes." He smiled at me, knowing I wasn't paying attention.
I glanced briefly at the problem on the board, taking mere seconds to do it inside my head.
"The answer to the problem is 3,742, sir." I stared at him.
"W-wh- where is your work." He stared at me, his eyes bulging out of his head.
"In my brain, sir." I tapped my forehead to indicate it.
"You surely can't have gotten it right." He walked over to the board, taking a couple minutes to solve it."You're right. You look quite young for this class, how old are you?" He asked.
"16." That got everyone's attention.
"But this is a class for seniors studying first year college math. What grade are you?" He raised his eyebrows.
"I'm in 10th grade, sir." I felt my face heat up with all the eyes on me.
"Alright students, the classes are about to switch, get packed up." He addressed the class.
I quickly grabbed my things and rushed out into the senior hallway. I could tell a lot of people were staring at me, the reason either my blue eyes, or that I wasn't a senior. Probably both.
I made my way to my next class, gym with Lindsey. I sighed in relief. I didn't have to face torture in one of my advanced classes this period. Oh yeah, I'm in multiple advanced classes this year.
"Hey girl!" Lindsey screamed at me from across the hall.
"Why am I even friends with you again?" I muttered to myself.
"What?"
"Nothing dear sweet innocent child." I said sarcastically, acting like a fairy godmother.
She glared at me and opened her mouth to speak, but as we entered the gym, she was cut off.
"Hey Killer!" A familiar voice called.
I turned around to be greeted by Ray, with a bag of mini Kit Kats. I immediately snatched the bag, glaring at him.
"Do I not get a thank you?" He asked.
"Oh my! Thank you, my knight in shining armor!" At that I pretended to swoon, plastering a fake smile on my face.
"Does that mean I can have one Kit Kat?" He asked.
"Le Gasp~!" Lindsey stepped in.
"They're mine!" I snarled.
The intercom came on: Isabel Blanca and Ray Tealk report to the headmaster office at once.
"R.I.P. Liam." Lindsey muttered.
Me and Ray started walking towards Liam's office as soon as the coach walked in the gym.
"I'm out!" I shouted, raising my hands in the air as if there was a gun pointed at me.
Me and Ray walked into the office, me glaring at him. When I entered, Liam had a face that said Really? Today of all days?
"Give me the dagger." He said.
"No. It was Uncle Tom's." I glared at him.
"Then you have to give Ray a Kit Kat." He narrowed his eyes.
"But that goes against the contract." Hah. Beat that.
"N-no it doesnt." He stuttered.
I raised my eyebrows, walking over to the cabinet behind his desk. I grabbed my spare key I stole from him, and I opened the very top drawer. I pulled out the only folder in there and opened it. I grabbed the contract in the pocket handing it to Ray to be the tie breaker.
"Yeah, Killer's right." He said while reading through the paper.
"Killer?" Liam raised an eyebrow.
Liam's phone rang before I could say anything.
"Hello?" He answered.
"Yes, this is Liam Blanca."
"WHAT!?"
I looked over at him shocked. Liam doesn't ever shout. He looked over at me, putting the phone down.
"Dad was in a car accident and is at the hospital."
