Hi! :) Here is a new chapter - things get more exciting ;) So please comment! Vote! Fan ! Aly's POV
Oh shoot! Shoot! What the hell am I going to do? Why did those stupid, pig-headed board members choose to go on their rounds right now? Coach Diaz is coming over looking extremely smug. I am so dead!
"Miss. Nielson, you are on Melena's team. We are playing basketball." yells the couch.
Now that is just great, I'm on Melena's side when Nattie is the captain of the opposite team. Melena, of all people. The thing is my friends and I kind of have a rivalry going with Melena and her snobby friends, Shania and Kayla. They were our schools blond haired, blue eyed, single brain-celled twits.
"Ah! We have the absolutely athletic Aly, on our side." Melena exclaimed, sarcastically, as I walked onto the basketball court.
Nooooooooo! This is definitely going to be painful. I am ball-magnet, and not in a good way. I heard the whistle blow, as I started feeling weird. Just as the game started, I had a feeling I was facing the wrong way.
"Turn around, moron!" I heard multiple shouts, from the girls around me.
Hearing a whizzing sound, I suddenly spin around and run towards the half-court line. My body is not listening to my head anymore and all I can see around me are blurs. Grabbing the ball, I shoot and score a three-pointer.
The gym is suddenly filled with the awed gasps of all who saw my shot, the loudest gasp coming from my own mouth. The only silent spot in the crowd coming from the distant part of the bleachers where the three new boys are sitting.
Aly's POV
Whoa! It's hard to believe that actually happened! The game was followed by even more looks of startling looks of disbelief and shock.
"I have a major headache." I mutter, as Jess and Nattie lead me into our geometry class, through all the whispers.
We walk over to our desks and sit down. I notice that the three new boys - Nick, Jake and Niel, are in our class. Great, this is going to be awkward; I'm sitting bang next to Niel!
After sitting down and pretending that my pencil was the most interesting thing in the world, I heard our geometry teacher Miss. Tanner burst into class with a muffled
"Good morning class. We have a surprise test. Please take out a sheet of paper and your stationary."
That was all she said. No, 'welcome back' or 'how was your vacation'. And people wonder why no one is remotely interested in her class! So there she goes, handing out the most absurd leaflets, which make absolutely no sense (if I do say so myself)!
I look down at my question paper and go completely blank. So I do the only thing I can, I jot down my name and the date. Then let my eyes wander around the class. My eyes come to rest on Miss. Tanner's hawk-like face, while wondering about the answers. Suddenly, my headache disappears and a random string of numbers rolls into my head. The numbers seem to be passing from my teachers mind into my own; I concentrate harder on the thoughts and recognize them as the answers!
Niel's POV
"Nick, now!" Jake and I yell.
I then jumped forward a few feet and saw Aly stumble. She was going to fall.
"Niel, catch her!" Jake commanded, as he watched Nick's eyes dilate.
At that, I leaned forward and caught Aly, as she finally fell forward. She was now in my arms, and for some strange reason I didn't want to let her go....
