Chapter1: Part 1: the first meet with a Gladiator

*5 years later from the incident

Heibai's POV:

"I will avenge you, don't worry. Today is the day i head to the Great Dojo to get experients and to train myself more to fight those mens. I will return one day, please wait for me. Mom, dad."

those are the last word i talk to my parents' grave before i start my journey to the Dojo. With Jinnu sleeping in my cloak's pocket.

As i walk through the wood, i heard a scream "HELP!" from the distance. I rushed with the fastes speed my body allow, to see a wrecked cart, a bunch of black stick holding some terrible made swords, facing a green stick with a long sword with a "FL" mark on the handle. I ignore them for a bit and go help the old man who i assume he screamed. That green guy looks like a skilled swordman/fighter, but i don't really think he can take all of those guys all by himself. But his sword suddenly shoots out some purple smoke (i think, i can only focus on how strong the heat is) and fly him toward the thief, i was suprise again because how fast he take all the thief down with a whole bunch of sword hits. Now he turn to me and ask
???: "Are you one of them?"
"uhhh, definately no. I'm just passing by"
???: "Well, you look quite strong, wanna spar? Those guy are too weak to even fire me up"
i stand up with a little smile and a little dèja vu feeling "Sure, i have some spare time. My name's Heibai."
???:  "Alright Heibai, my name's FLLFFL, but you can call me Alfa"
Jinnu: *whisper to me "be careful, this guy is strong, trust your feeling when you fight him"
I can't remember why, but i feel like i have fought this man before, but in a worse scenario. But it's enough talking, i thought of a pair of dagger and Jinnu flows out of my pocket and form into 2 daggers
Alfa: "that's a cool weapon, but is it enough for this fight?"
"well, i guess we gotta find out on our own" i talk with the smirk on my face
I breathe as much as i can to prevent my asthma randomly pop up in the middle of the fight while getting in fighting position. Alfa draw his sword and stick it to the ground and lower his body, look like he's about to rush to me. And then the fight begins. As i expecting, Alfa took advantage and pull his sword up, and fly straight to me. I also dashed toward him, although a little bit slower. Our weapon met, i was pushed back a little bit, then we split up, then we rushed in each other again, bui this thime, we use our speed to fight. to my supprise, his body move way faster then i think it would be, but my dagger is faster than his sword, so i can still hold on a little bit. Suddenly, a flash appear on my eyes, which let me know that he is gonna strike me from the bottom left side, so i move my dagger rigt down there. With that, i can prevent a big wound on my face, but then he kicked me in th gut and i fell, dropped both my dagger and Alfa's tip of the sword right in front of my face.
Alfa: "Good fight, buddy. You have a lot of potential, but you lack of fighting experience, eh?"
"Well, it's my first fight ever, so i'm quite happy with this result, even though you don't even take this half serius"
Alfa: "heh, so are you heading somewhere? It wouldn't make sense if you are here for no reason"
"I live there" i pointed at the direction of my house "and now i'm taking my chance to explore the place, heading to the dojo, and..." i summon Jinnu back into my pocket "...finish some old deals"
Alfa: "i'm not gonna ask what those "deals" are, sounf pretty terrible, but if you heading to the Dojo, you should go with that guy" and he points at the old man who just scream for help "he have that Dojo mark on the side, how stupid those guy are trying to rob a cart of the Dojo" and laughs. He give me a small bag and said "hey, when you reach the dojo, hand this to Hyun, he would love this" and i quickly relize this guy is talking about the leader of the Dojo, Hyun. And he talk about him like he want to grab Hyun's head and take him for a drink. 
"Alright" i said "you can count on me, Alfa"

BOI this part is longer than i thought it would be, hope you don't find it exhausting to read, compare to the Preludes

Edit: i forgot, this part occur before the fight between FLLFFL vs Pulse, so he still have both his arm
