It was already the second day since the couple has moved in but so far, they haven't made any noise considering that the apartments have really really thin walls. But Renjun didn't care nor think about it for he was too busy being a mess.

It was already 8 am and he was late for his work. As cliche as it sounds, he actually worked in a cat cafe with two of his bestfriends: Donghyuck and Chenle. The salary wasn't that much but it was enough to pay the bills. Plus they love cats.Although Chenle was already loaded with coins, he worked there because he wanted to be closer to his bestfriends

Renjun finally made it to the cafe after running for what it feels like an hour. Opening the door with his shaking hands, he stepped inside the small but fancy cafe filled with cats of all colors.

Damn, I shouldn't have skip PE classes

At the counter was a smirking Donghyuck with a giggly Chenle and two elderly cats.

"well aren't you lucky bitch?"

"Ge, u look like u ran a marathon but lose to an old man in his 70s!"

He rolled his eyes before making his way to the counter, after saying hello to the cats, ofcourse, because thats a priority, and started to prepare some drinks for the regulars.

One of the regulars was a tall boy, with very small eyes and pink hair. They have been working for almost a year now and he would always be there. Ordering every thing on the menu, in alphabetical order, with a cat on his lap, just playing on his phone and very often getting caught staring

The trio would have inside jokes about him calling him " the cafe stalker" but aside from being weird, he was okay, mostly because he give good tips and over all, looked like a nice guy

People started to come in and many of which were couples on dates and students skipping classes. The famous cafe stalker was there too, making himself comfortable on the couches. This time he didn't order which was lowkey strange but they were busy helping out the costumers.

Renjun was next a young couple who were playing with a ginger male cat, with two cups of coffee. He kindly handed them both their orders before showing off his cute smile. Ready to go back to the counter but was stopped by the famous cafe stalker holding a meowing grey female kitten.

Woah the guy is literally just legs

"Is something wrong sir?"

"Um I think shes hungry? Can I feed her?"

"oh sure"

With that, the pair was seated on the floor next to the eachother watching the kitten eat the wet food. They weren't talking so it was a bit awkward but again the two of them are always awkward.

"So my name is Jisung by the way"

"Im Renjun"

"uh can i ask u something?"

"sure, what is it?

"can I take u out?"

" on a date?"

"no! No no but just a hangout?.... I like ur friend, Chenle and I always wanted to make a move but im scared.... So basically im asking for ur help?"

"Hold on. U want me to help u two date by going on a date with u?"

"iTS A HANGOUT. and yes, then we can be friends and you can tell me what he likes and then I might grow balls to ask him out"

"thats the dumbest thing I heard today"

"I know! Forget it, it wont work. Sorry to bother-"

"but if u are going to date the most precious boy in the world then u better be one heck of a guy. And me being his friend, I need to know if the guy is a dick or not. So take this as a test to show off ur charms, to tell me about urself so that I know how to hurt u if u hurt him"

"woah woah. I would NEVER hurt him. and why does this turn into a test? Its not fair!"

"scared small eyes?"

"pfft no shortie. I'll do it for chenle"

With the conversation, they exchange numbers and the two of them went back to their bussiness.

Renjun had finally arrived his room. After showering and making himself some ramen for dinner, he popped himself on his bed with his pajamas, thinking about how his day went.

what the fuck. A guy asked me out but not because he likes me but because he likes my friend? Wow now Im sad.

but hey at least I have 2 bestest people in the whole universe so thats pretty good.

At least I have a job, friends, food and a roof. Guess my life isnt that fucked-

This was all way too much for virgin Renjun, the panicked gay Renjun. But things can be worse

Jaemin was sitting on a chair with Jeno on the bed, both suppressing laughter. Jaemin was the one who thought about it and Jeno had never agreed on something that fast.

"shake the bed veRy loudly and fast. So its more believe" he whisper at his boyfriend on the bed.

"oh oh oH what if I growl?"

"yes! Perfect!"

After Jeno growled, they heard a quiet gasp and their faces went red, trying their hardest to not laugh

Why are they doing this?

Well they heard Renjun and Donghyuck"s phone call. It was honestly fun to listen and the whole time they had the biggest smiles. They thought it was cute to see this effect they have on their neighbour

You might think someone that had live in this apartment for 2 years would be more quiet.

But Renjun was an idiot

Okay but a guy friend of my actually asked me to "hangout" bc he wanted me to hook him and my friend up. But shes a lesbian-
