Ruby, Xi and I were walking around Diamond Forest, I was just really surprised and pressured that my friends decided to take me on a small mission.

I am also glad that Auntie Jane convinced Valentino to let us help on the case, that's pretty amazing. But for now, let's ignore all my troubles.

Xi looked at Ruby then at me in slight concern, Ruby did the same.

I stopped walking, letting out a sigh with a smile: "Guys, don't worry about me! I'm fine!"

Xi explained: "We know.. But we wanna cheer you up with this mission!"

"As much as I hate to say this. I agree with Xi on this one, Chief!" Ruby admitted.

"What exactly is the mission about?" I asked with curiousity flowing over my brain.

Ruby replied with a childish smirk:
"You'll see!"

We started walking again, as I followed my two loyal friends as they lead me into the forest. On our way there, I noticed a small beige coloured owl, sitting on a tree branch. It's huge amber eyes staring right at me. My eyes couldn't help but shimmer just appreciating it beauty. While being distracted Ruby and Xi just looked at me while I stood there, staring at the owl.

"Lou, are you okay?" Xi asked as he waved his hand right above my eyes.

I blinked and looked at him.

"Oh sorry, I was just-", when I looked up again, the owl was gone. "...looking at something?" I answered, mumbling.

Ruby then insisted "Anyway! Let's keep going, shall we?"

Xi and I nod as we walk towards a cave that was waiting for us with it's crystals sticking out.

"Quartz Cave..." I said, embracing the beauty of these rocks and clear crystals, I then saw a crystal just laying there, so I picked it up and put it in my small handbag where I keep various things in.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Xi asked, wondering around the cave.

"Yeah, let's keep moving, there's something more beautiful than this!" Ruby said before she sprinted away, I followed her in a fast speed.

"Geez... What have I gotten myself into right now?" Xi mumbled before running after us.

We all stopped at a blue lighted lake, with maybe crystals hanging from it's celling.

"Now that's beautiful!" I exclaimed. "How did you find this place, Ru?"

"Eh, doing my way to your house I found this cave and wonder inside it!" Ruby explained.

I looked around and suddenly the owl just sat on a stone, staring at me again. As if it was curious about me. Then all of a sudden the owl came towards me and sat down on my shoulder.

Xi then screamed like a girl,
"WHAT IS THAT?!"

Ruby couldn't help but snicker at Xi's reaction. "It's just an owl, dumbo!"

"Why are you scared of owls?" I asked him.

"Not just owls, But anything that just comes out of nowhere or is scary, just gives me anxiety." he  replied.

Ruby and I looked at each other then back at Xi, trying to keep our laughter in.

Ruby stared at the owl. "I think he likes you, Chief! Can we keep it?!"

She stared at me with her signature puppy eyes, begging for only one answer, which was a sweet 'Yes'.

I then laughed, smiling. "Fine!"

Ruby jumped around in a happy manner but then got all serious and just simply said, "Cool."

She's a very strange and twisted kid I must admit, but when you've been around with her for along time now, you'll get used to all of her quirks. Trust me. And you might as well find her 'just normal' in a long run.

Auntie Jane opened the front door as soon as she heard a knocked and was graced by the look of us being soaked while an owl sat on my shoulder.

"Who is it?" Valentino asked as he came to stand next to her, also looking at us in a surprised manner.

"Look what I found! The 3rd sidekick of the Chief!" I exclaimed feeling proud. But the reaction plastered on their faces tells otherwise, something isn't right. It must be...

"Lou....we found something out." Auntie Jane said with a worried tone. She looked a bit hesitant to tell what the matter is.

Ruby and Xi looked at her, sensing the sudden tension as well.

I just stared blankly, with lots of thoughts going through my mind.

With the little courage, I looked to both of them,
"What did you find out...?"
