Third Person's POV

"Kageyama."

Kageyama groaned at the sudden voice as he turned away from the source of it.

"Kageyama-kun."

The ravenette covered his whole face with the blanket he was using. The strange voice gently grabbed Kageyama's shoulder as it softly shook him.

"Kageyama. I'm back."

Kageyama swore his eyes opened as fast as a lightning bolt as he rapidly turned his whole body towards the person who claims to be "Hinata".

"Hinata!"

Hinata laughed at Kageyama as the human hugged Hinata tightly as if they were apart for years. Let's just say that those two got way too attached together.

"Hey, hey! Don't act as if we were apart too long."

The devil continued to laugh at Kageyama's action as he returned the hug to him with the same amount of strength.

"Shut up!"

They continued hugging for a while as they slowly released each other even if they didn't want to.

"How are you feeling?"

It's incredible how Kageyama could easily changes his voice from a scary and rough murderous tone to the most softest and gentle tone, the devil has ever heard.

"Yeah, never been better."

Hinata gave Kageyama his famous bright and sunny smile.

"Good to know. I'll make breakfast while you prepare to explain to me what had happened to you yesterday."

Hinata nodded as he remembered that he had to explain to Kageyama. The teen ruffles Hinata's hair as the devil's tousled hair drops back to where it original was.

Both of them head down towards the kitchen as Kageyama switched on the stove.

"Every once a month, a devil would go through what humans call 'fever'."

Hinata suddenly spoke as he leaned his butt on the counter with Kageyama resuming his cooking, but he was paying close attention to the devil.

"Why do you have to go through it every month? Isn't there something to cure it?"

The ravenette asked as he poured some of the pancake batter into the flat pan. Hinata watched his tail swaying around before speaking again.

"It can't ever be cured. We immortals, have to go through this and it's a must because our body was actually adapting to new viruses. So, if there was any virus were to intrude my body, it would be easier for me top recover since I've already went through it."

Worried, Kageyama paused his cookings and faced Hinata. He didn't like the way Hinata's face scrunches when he was in pain. It ached his heart knowing Hinata was suffering badly.

"But, I don't like seeing you curled up in that room and locking yourself in there, not letting me see you."

The orange haired devil gave a soft smile towards Kageyama and patted his head.

"Don't worry, I'll be in pain for a day and I can't let you be with me for too long when I'm in that state. If I did, the virus would be attached to you."

"So what if it does? It's similar to fever, right? Then of course I can handle it-"

"No."

Hinata rapidly cut the ravenette's sentence off, preventing him from speaking further.
