UNFAMILIAR (A Place I Don't Know)

I woke up early to catch the first trip of bus. I'm about to enter Granny's apartment when Jin appears, he is wearing a black jacket and jogging pants. He must do his morning exercise routine now.

"Jisoo?," he said as soon as he saw me, he seems shocked.

"Hi, good morning," I greeted him witj my awkward smile.

"Are you alright?," he asked out of nowhere. Do I look like not okay? I can see his worried look.

"I'm fine," I said adding a little bit of smile to convince him. "I'll head inside," I said as I walk pass through him.

"Are you not going to jog?," he asked and I never thought that he is talkative when morning. I'm about to enter when Irene appears in her jogging outfit, it looks like they will go together.

"Oh, hi Jisoo," she greeted and how can she be beautiful this morning. It's not like I liked her, it's just that her visual is no joke. I smile in return to her greet to me.

"I'm not going to jog today," I answered on Jin's question. "You can go ahead, enjoy," I said then heads on my room directly. I didn't wait for them to respond.

As soon as I changed to my comfortable clothes, I lay on my bed and fell asleep again. I'm awakened by a knock on my door and when I opened my eyes, it's already dark.

I took my phone to check what time is it, and it's already 7 in the evening. That means I'm asleep for the whole day??? Well, I guess I'm emotionally tired and my body takes it rest.

I heard a knock on my room again but I didn't bother opening it. I think they're already having their dinner outside. I'm still not in mood to mingle with them and answer when they ask me questions. I just want to be alone for the meantime. Then I received a message from Jin, yes I already saved his number. But I don't read it, you know you have that day in your life that you're too lazy to do anything.

I'm getting hungry so I decided to go outside. I grabbed my jacket and wear it. I pressed my ear on the door to check if they're still in the living or dining room. But I guess they're on their own room now, it's quiet.

I went to the convenience store and buy foods that I've been craving since earlier.

"Granny will freak out if she sees you eating that," someone commented from my side.

"Omo, Jin? What are you doing here?," I said in shocked state.

"Should I be the one asking you that? You didn't get out in your room for the whole day. Then I heard the door of your room opens and you hurriedly went to get outside," he said and I must be naive not to notice that he saw me.

"I'm a heavy sleeper," all I can say and started opening the coffee crumbled ice cream and chips.

"You haven't eaten the whole day and you're just going to eat ice cream and chips," he said as he takes the seat beside me. What's with this guy?

"Seriously, you're going to nag me?," I asked him sarcastically. "Fyi, these are my comfort foods and no one can stop me from eating these," I told him proudly.

"Comfort food, huh," he said with an amused look on his face. "So you do have a problem? Your eyes are swollen this morning when I saw you," he added and I looked at him. He noticed it? Wow, daebak.

"It's just that I'm stressed," I said half-truth, well he already caught me.

"Uh-huh?," he said as if he's not believing me.

"Yep, I'm a blogger and yet I can't find anything or something that is worth sharing on my blog," I explained to him and he nods.

"But still you should be healthy. You cannot encourage someone if you in yourself are not encouraged," he spoke and I'm amused. "We're like that in our group, for us to be able to perform well for our ARMY, we must take care of ourselves fully," he added and I nod as I scoop an ice cream and put it in my mouth.

"Wow, you can be a good speaker," I told him as a joke, just to enlightened our serious atmosphere. "You want some?," I asked him as I offer him my tub of ice cream then give him a spoon.

"If you're hungry, you should just tell me. I can cook," he said seriously.

"Aigoo, Kim Seokjin of BTS can cook, that's impossible," I said as I teased him.

"Yes, I do!," he said proudly. Luckily, there are just few people here and he's not being recognized. "I'll cook you my favourite dish, wait for it," he said as he look directly to my eyes. It's like we stopped for a moment and just stare at each other.

"Okay," all I can say because it's getting weirder and my heart is beating differently.

"And expect the milk I'll deliver to you," he said and I can't believe on what he is saying to me now.

"Seriously, you're going to do that?," I asked and I'm not believing him.

"Yes," he immediately answered. "I'm in-charge in keeping our group healthy," he added. Oh, that's why.

"But I'm not part of your group," I told him and we're like debating now.

"You're part of our family now, you lived in Granny's apartment remember?," he said and with that, I lost. "That's why you need to inform me as well as Granny, Mark and Irene your whereabouts or if there's something happen to you. We're family now," he added and I tried to hold back my tears. I just can't believe that they're treating me as part of their family even just they barely knew me.

"I'm speechless, really," all I can say as I put in my mouth the last scoop of ice cream.

"Let's go," he said and helped me throw my trash in the garbage bin. We continued in talking on our way home about our lifestyle and career. He's kinda talkative but in a good way. He's the one who mostly talked and I'll just listen to him.

When we arrived on the apartment, we head on the kitchen since Jin will make a milk for both of us. I drink it then bid my goodnight. It's been a long night for both of us and I think he need to take his rest already.

I get inside my room and lay on my bed. What happened tonight is something I can't forget. Jin's unexplainable action towards me will keep me awake for the whole night.
