Chaoter 4: The date.

GLucy and I were watching some Boy Meets World marathon, but my head was not there all that I was thinking of the way Ryan acted yesterday. I couldn't even focus on Shawn's flirty ways.

"Serena!!??" I woke up from my haze and turned to Lucy.

She looked horrible yet excited. "Yeah?" I replied quietly.

"Whats up with you, I do not see you fan girling over Shawn with me, WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO YOU." She started shaking me like I am some doll, I haven't told her about what happened yesterday, I didn't think it would be appropriate, since he asked her out.

"What? um nothing I just.." I sighed and turned around facing her.

"Uh oh this seems serious, you are making the face Seren!!" Her eyes widened as she took my hands in hers.

"Its Ryan, I just can't stop thinking about him, I mean come on you have to admit what we had was real. I might actuall-" I couldn't finish my last word as I was slapped across the face.

I was shocked. "LUCY! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?!" I shrieked as I felt my now swollen red cheek. Ugh the nerve of the bitch.

"I am sorry Serena, I just can't let this happen, you will get hurt AGAIN and I don't like the idea of him dancing around in your mind plus come on don't drop to Dalias level, he is taken. I am so sorry just slap me back."

I smiled at her little speech, I knew she cared about me it's just, I just cannot stop thinking about him.

"Its okay Lucy I needed that and you know what I will stop thinking about him. Now lets talk about Nate." I winked at her and started tickling her as she squealed.

"Lemme pause first." She paused the ongoing series and faced me. "Well I accepted his invitation, whenever I see his blue eyes my heart starts beating so fast, my stomach gets the feeling of vomiting, and I just feel like a little girl. He makes me feel like.." she looked down getting ready for a nasty smug comment from me.

I was speechless I found it cute she felt this way about him, she actually liked him, which is suprising since she never really felt weak for someone.

"Don't worry I am not going to bite your head off, I am actually supportive of this oh so unusual relationship." I rubbed her arm and bear hugged her she just made choking noises.

God how I love my monkey of a best friend.

It was Friday morning and I was blow drying my hair after some steamy relaxing shower I had to clear any thoughts of him that I still had. After finishing my hair crisis I got into some pijamas and decided that it was Glee marathon day, I was just going to sleep and not get out of my bed for the rest of the day.

3 hours later I managed to finish season 1 and was about to start 2, but my phone rang interrupting me. Worst part was it was all over on the other side of the bed and I was too bothered to bend to get it.

It was Lucy I knew it was so I did what had to be done, I bend all over to the dark side to get my phone, that female owed me BIG time.

"What? you are interrupting my don't do no shit plan!" I hissed through the line showing her how serious I was.

"Shut up and get your little ass here.. NOW!" Lucy screamed through the line.

"Fiestaa, Where exactly are you?" It was 5pm and I was too lazy to even get my darn phone from the other side of the bed.

"I am in my house you retard!" I told her that I was on my way and hung up.

I changed into some more civilized sweats and put on some randome shirt and got into my slippers and jogged to her house, it was 7 minutes away.

I knocked on the door not even with my 3rd knock that I was pulled inside.

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU WOMAN?!" I screamed rubbing my arm seriously that girl is abusing me.
"Aw S I'm so so sorry it's just I don't think I can do it." she explained huffing air out of her mouth.
I started blinking story, my little monkey was nervous which was pretty rare, this made me even more guilty over my crush and what happened in the football field with Nate. I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her forehead.

"Lucy, this guy is lucky he gets to even look at you. Look try and go out on this date and if you think he so worth it then take it slow but don't ever make him take advantage of you. Also you are so ready for him on the other hand that guy so the one which'a supposed to be sweating buckets with the thought of you." I gave her the usual post date pep talk.With that we hugged telling not each other how much we love eachother.

"Well now that you reassured me that I'm basically a goddess how about you help me search for the perfect outfit." Lucy beamed at me, the nerve of the bitch.

"HEY HEY HEY I KNOW THAT LOOK YOU TRICKED ME, YOU DRAGGED ME AWAY FROM MY TRUE LOVE JUST TO HELP YOU COVER UR NIUDE BODY?!" Ok I know I exaggerated buts he didn't have the authority to trick me.

"I'm sorry S but I just need support so forgive me?"

"Fine fine lets go" and withy that we ran into her room turning her wardrobe upside down in search for the "perfect outfit" 30 minutes later we picked a pair of light jeans, white tank top, a kimono. As for her shoes she wore combats. I looked at her one more time, wew, I have such a good fashion sense. I smiled proudly

Lucy looked at the mirror while jumping excitedly we started hopping around just laughing.
Until the bell rang.
Lucy face turned pale, head snapping to me "answer the door until I Have some last touches?" She gave me pouted.
"But Luce... ahh fine just tuck those lips" I rolled my eyes as I travelled downstairs opening the door.

I stood shocked staring at him, he looked amazing, his hair shining, he wore a normal praised shirt with a wife beater, simple but somehow he managed to pull it off with his athlete of a body. I blushed as Dirty thoughts crossed my mind when my eyes landed on those lips.
"You done checking me out? I don't mind but shouldn't you like be forbidden to even be blushing at your best friend's future boyfriend?" He said while clicking his tongue into his cheek raising an eyebrow, gosh help me.

I narrowed my eyes at him while scoffing"You're one to talk why the hell did you what you did in the football field?" I whispered in case Lucy was wishing hearing distance.

Nate looked at me for a moment " Mr golden boy was ogling you and let's just say we don't go along so I decided to irritate him knowing he is lovesick with you" he smirked one more time and before I could say anything back recovering from my shock.

Lucy came down the stairs looking like some goddess it was just like a chick lit even the whole slow motion act.
I backed away from the door allowing Nate to approach her , I could tell they could be perfect for each other, jealousy hit me but I buried it, my bestfriend was happy."

"Wow.. I am quiet speechless, you look wow" With that me bad boy grabbed Lucy's hand kissing it softly, Lucy's cheeks turned a color of red. I smiled at her for support.

Lucy quietly giggled as Nate and her interlocked hands "we better get going now, see you later S." I waved at them.

With that Lucy and Nate left starting a romance.
