After I hand the note to the new troll I see him open it and hastily scrawl something out. Finally he turns and throws it back at me. I give a slight chuckle and open it to see: "IM KARKAT AND I DONT GIVE TWO FUCKS!"
I smirk and reply with "Chill bro, why so feisty?"
He scrawls across the paper once more and is says "FUCK OFF ASSWIPE IM NOT YOUR BRO!" I chuckle and write back "Woah nubs I'm only trying to be welcoming what's wrong with that?" He snarls and speaks this time.
"HOWS THIS FOR WELCOMING ASSHAT?" He says in a low irritated voice, and walks over to the trash can abs threads the note into tiny pieces and tosses them in the garbage.
The bell rings and Karkat is the first to go I contemplated whether I should go after him or not, but I decided against it. Plus I told John o would meet him after class so we could walk to third period together. Besides I would see Karkat at lunch. I go and find John, throw my arm around his shoulder walk with him to class.

I see Dave looking fore so I join him for our walk to class. Something seemed off, he was distracted, but as soon as he snapped out of his daze he asked me something I thought I'd never hear him ask
"Hey bro have you met the new kid? Karkat is his name I think..."
Shocked as I was I replied simply "Nah man I haven't talked to him if that's what you mean, but me and Terrezi saw him in the hallway and she said that her, soulux, Eriden, and Nepeta know him from Alternia. I'm pretty sure she mentioned a few more but I wasn't paying that much attention." I really was surprised by his question tho because quite frankly David Elizabeth Strider never gave a single flying fuck about any new kid in the past something must really be up for him to do this. And all I get after I tell him what I knew was
"Oh OK dude that's chill. Hey you wanna skip and go listen to music or something?"
"Nah man I'm good but you go ahead."
"Suit your self I'll see you later I guess."
"Bye bro seeya!"
