It was raining, silent, the atmosphere was almost perfect. All it needed was one more thing.. No one knew her plans, no one had to know. She took the knife from her purse, it was sharp and recently cleaned. She walked up behind her victim, who was holding an umbrella, gripping her knife tightly as she plunged the knife into the woman's back. The woman fell to the ground and she fought for her life. Once the woman died the girl grabbed the umbrella that was laying on the wet and dirty ground. Cutting off a lock of hair from her victim, she took the umbrella and held it above her, protecting her from the rain. She walked down the street, discarding the knife and her gloves in a trash bin.

She got home, which she kept dimly lit, and placed the umbrella on the floor. She walked deeper into the house, getting a chill down her spine as she walked up to her shrine she made for her goddess she loved so much. She knelt down before she shrine and presented the hairs she took and placed them at the foot of the altar, giving them as a sacrifice. Hoping and wishing that this would be the one that would make her worthy, the one that would make her into what she wanted, no, willed to be. She put her hands together and prayed, giving one more try to her goddess that she loved so much, praying that her dreams would be answered and that she would have everything she finally wanted.

As she opened her eyes she saw it. A blinding light filling the room, consuming all the darkness both in her mind and her room. She stood up as a figure appeared before her, but there was no smile on the figure's face, only a frown as she seemed displeased with the offering. She was terrified, the goddess that she loved so much was before her and she expected anything but a frown. The goddess looked down at her, her red eyes burning with rage, she had one too many failed sacrifices and the goddess was angry with her "servant".

As a last resort, she fell to the ground and pleaded before her goddess she loved, pleading for one last chance, for one more sacrifice. But it was no good, the goddess had given up on her and the fiery woman watched as the girl held her chest and gasped for breath, her own life fading away as the light approached her, swallowing her whole as the world vanished from sight. Her lifeless body on the floor, cold and gone.
