Meeting the Queen and King

After that big incident, Edward told me to live at the Palace with him. But, is it really alright? Will the King and Queen accept me to live in the palace?

-In the car-

We are going back to the palace, so I can live there. But Im kind of nervious. I mean, living at the palace, facing the the Queen and King in person to get permision to live there. I was shaking a bit, but then Edward holds my hand to calm me down. I looked at him, he smiled at me. His smile made my cheeks turn pink. "Don't worry, Im always right here for you." He said, his words calmed me down, but Im still embarassed to be touched by Edward, and my heart is beating fast... hmmm.... what could this feeling be? Maybe its just nerviousness.

After a while we arived at the palace. We step inside and many maids and butlers came to greet us. I recognized one of the maids, she was the one who helped me with my dress. I looked at her, she notice and she smiled and I smiled back. Then Roberto went infront of us and asked why I was here. Edward explained what happened. Roberto soon became worried and he begin to ask me a lot of questions "Oh my!! Are you hurt?! Where will you stay for a while?! Or maybe are you planning on staying here in the palace?" He said. I begin to answer his questions. "Im not hurt, Maybe here at the palae, if the King and Queen agrees." I said in a bit nervious.

We went to a large room. There was two luxurious chairs. The right one is where the Queen sits and the left one is where the the king sits. Edward steped infront of them and I stood behind him. Edward knelt down to his knees "Father, Mother, I have returned." I did the same too, "Its a pleasure to meet you your Highnesses." The king looked at my direction and then looked at Edward. "Who is this girl?" The king said. "She is a friend of mine." Edward said then the queen asked too. "What is she doing here?" the queen frowned and glared at me. She made me a bit uncomfortable. Then Edward spoke, "She came here because she doesn't have a home to live in. Her house was burned up." the king looked at me, "Now that I think about it, there was some news that a flower shop was burned just a while ago." The king continued, "Its ok for me if she stays, but...." Then the king looked at the queen. "What?" The queen said a bit anoyed. "Dear? So what do you say?" The king asked kindly. The queen glared at me for a bit then looked at the king again and sighed in defeat. "Fine, she can stay. But only if she becomes a maid in return on giving her a place to stay." The queen said then Edward smiled happily and I too smiled. "Thank you so much, Mother, Father!" "Thank you so much your Majesties!" Me and Edward thanked them.

As soon as that was finished, me and Edward went upstairs so Edward can show me my room. We were walking silently, but then Edward broked the silence, "Are you ok about working here at the palace?" "Yes" I replied.

"Im happy, that you get to stay with me..."

"Huh? Did you say something?" I couldn't hear what he said it was too quiet. "No, its nothing."

"?" I was still curious about what he said, but...

Then Edward stoped walking. "Huh? What's wrong Edward?" He shows me a door. "This is your room." He opened the door, I was so surprised, the room was beautiful, it was very large. The room was as pink as cherry blossoms(these are trees that only blooms flowers at spring and mostly found in japan, korea or thailand) and the bed was big and so soft. "So, what do you think?" Edward asked. "Its beautiful!!" I said happily while looking all over the place. "Im glad you like it. Here is the map of the castle. My room is right next door, on the right side, dont go to the left side, that's my younger brother's room." "Oh, you mean Prince Allen?" Prince Allen was the youngest son he is very blunt, but some people say he is just shy. "Yes, Im sure he will be surprised when he sees you. Im sure your tired. You should get some sleep." He said still smiling. He opened the door, he was about to go but I called out to him. "Umm... Edward?" he looked at me again, "Yes?" what am I doing? "No... Its nothing." he chuccled, "Well, good night, my sweet princess (y/n)." "Good night Edward." he closed the door, I let out a big yawn. I changed my cloths into the night gown in the closet and drift away into slumber.
