Where you choose

~Night of the grand ball~

"What should I wear??" you said as you try on each dress in your drawer. then you stopped when you saw a fine blue gown. It was a tube top with lovely diamonds all lines up in swirls, and it's skirt filled with amusing ruffles. 

It was simple yet an eye catching dress. You began to try it on, it fits you perfectly... You twirled around and glanced at the mirror, you look at yourself relieved that you can move around with the dress.

then you heard a knock on your door. "come in." you said, and on the door was Marian. "oh, Marian what brings you here?" you said cocking your head to side. "well, I wanted to help you get ready. And as expected you haven't put on some make-up nor fixed up your hair." she said at the same time eyeing your face and messy hair. 

"you don't have to help me Marian." 

"don't say that (y/n), it's the king's request. And even if he didn't ask me i'd still be here wanting to help you." She gave you a nice kind smile. But you couldn't help but protest at her words.

"But--" before you could continue she cut you off. "No 'buts' I'm gonna make you gorgeous right here right now." You ended up agreeing, since her stubborn mind wouldn't listen at all. She gently brushed your hair. "so, (y/n) who do you like more? edward or Allen?"

her question made your heart raise and your cheeks heat up. Her question was indeed unexpected. But then.... I don't know how to answer... who do I like more? You hesitated.

Marian chuckles softly, "looks like that was too straightforward." you look at her reflection in the mirror and she returns your gaze. "you don't have to answer the question if you don't want to (y/n)." you nodded and said "okay.." in a whisper.

~time skip~

"there, all done!" said marian proudly. you looked at your reflection, and you saw a beautiful maiden. is that really me? you said not believing the transformation. Your hair was braided and a lily was attached to it as an ornament. You glanced at marian happily, "thank you so much!!"

"anytime, (y/n). Just ask me you need some make-up preparations." she smiled kindly at you. After that a knock was heard. You get up and opened the door. As soon as you do, you were met by surprised gaze of Edward and Allen. They both scanned you from head to toe as they blushed. 

"You look gorgeous (y/n)." they said at the same time. You instantly blushed at their compliments and said, "thank you..." in a faint whisper... they smiled... then...

(edward)"(y/n)..."

(Allen)"can I..."

(Edward and Allen) "Be your escort?" they said at the same time causing them to glare at each other. "I asked her first." spat edward

"No way brother, I asked her first!" said Allen almost shouting. You sweat dropped and faked a smile. Then they noticed your uneasy gaze. "I'm so sorry (y/n)." said Edward while lowering his head apologetically. Allen also did the same. "No, no. It's okay don't worry about it." then they suddenly gave you a serious gaze.

"(y/n) who will you choose between us?" said allen. Your heart skiped a beat and your face flushed red as a cherry. Who should I choose?

You think about all the fun times you've had. Allen was so very cold to me, but deep inside he is very nice. And Edward might be a little protective, but he's very sweet.

and there your answer was clear, you choose your words carefully, "I....." you hesitated for a moment but kept going,

"I-I choose...."
