I woke up with a start in an empty room
The walls starting to close in on me.
I've been this way since you left me.
The broken pieces of our memories are scattered around,
Just like my broken heart.
I'll keep the promise I made to you,
Facing tomorrow with a smile.
My love for you is true and forever will be yours.
Falling asleep is much easier than staying awake.
With you holding me in my dreams everyday.
The warmth of your hands,
The longing in your gaze
comforts me.
