Chap 5. Family : The Old Contract

*Only mothers can think of the future because they give birth to it in their children. *

After her husband accident and death, and after the confirmation of the disappearance of the MANSI family, Madam Dama was invited to the lawyers to talk about the company's future and share readjustment as she had to take over the company leadership to give her son time to adjust and prepare to step in.

So, she found out that not only did she and her son receive their shares of the company, but because the MANSI girls were nowhere to be found, his son Nate also received the shares of the MANSI Girls.

It was stated that way in the contract that his late husband and his best friend made years earlier when they merged both their family companies, MANSI's Lab and DAMA Tech and cofounded SINGA corporation.

Even though she was surprised at the complexity of the clause that was binding both their family together, Nate Dama only holds the majority and the chairman seat if he is married to the eldest girl of the Mansi, Taya MANSI. And for Taya MANSI to access her share fully, she needed to be married to Nate DAMA, and breaking the engagement between the MANSI and the DAMA was even riskier than she could think of.

So many clauses, each following one connected and bringing back to the previous one and eventually accentuating the necessity and obligation of being married and staying married to each other.

She understood that somehow those clauses were to be applied and respected in other not to lose his husband's company to the mercy of hungry, greedy, evil and ungrateful board members.

So, she waited for those girls to come and claimed their shares, but they never appeared, and she decided not to talk to his son about old contract and arranged for it to be secret.

Meanwhile she continues to look for Taya and her sister for the last 7 years. Not only for marriage purposes since she didn't know the kind of person that MANSI girl was but maybe to find together a solution to the issues of shares.

Madam DAMA has never been a greedy person, there was no way she would enjoy what was not hers, and she would never also force her son to marry a stranger just for the sake of money. But the longer she tried to find a way out of the damn contract the more she started to believe it was impossible. She was one of the best lawyers in the country, and still found it almost impossible to overturned, and not to raise suspicions she was force to work on it but herself without obvious external help from reputable colleagues for fear of exposing the contract.

She still wanted to give those girls their shares back, but that will mean that his son will be losing the majority, so she started worrying, since losing those shares will put his son in a tough spot considering the number of enemies that were waiting for him to lose even a tiny bit of his power.

But eventually, she finally found them in January last year, but so many things have changed since the last time she received the shares.

Even if the company was still very influential at the time of the contract drafting, it was no place near what it has become today.

She had watched how Nathan and her son nurture SINGA corporation and make it one of the most powerful corporations around the world, if not the most powerful. And she knew too well, how much he had paid and sacrificed for that growth

And therefore, even though at first, she simply wanted to find those girls and find a way to give them back their shares. She couldn't help but to be anxious and scared about the possibility of the girls not having pure heart, moral and honor.

And so, she was struggling and being torn about whether to be righteous towards orphans girls and the selfishness of a mother's love to protect her own.

It had just been so long, she couldn't blindly hoped for the girls' morals and character anymore, and there was just too much at stake.

In fact, SINGA Corporation was made of 2 companies combined, MANSI Technology and DAMA Laboratory. After the merging, they named it SINGA Corporation, while Mansi technology became a branch handling technology software and networking, DAMA technology was the other branch handling the designing of security devices. SINGA Corp was the governments, and big corporations' go-to company for cybersecurity and access control.

And for the last 10years, with Nate DAMA leadership they become the world's largest cybersecurity and access control software and devices provider. They produced computers, security cameras and drones, satellites, access control devices, and so on.

They were currently established in more than 100 countries around the world.

It was true that his husband left Nate a kingdom, but her son made sure as hell to expand it to an empire. So, Madam DAMA got scared that the MANSI girls will take the company power away from his son.

In reality, after the merging, the DAMA only had 40%, the MANSI 45%, and the remaining 15% went to the other share older who one must know were against NATE being the president after his father passed away. He only holds the majority with the MANSI girls, who were missing.

The contract made to include that.

So, after she finds the girl early last year, Madam DAMA decided to spy on her and her sister before revealing herself to her.

And well, let just say that after months of observing Taya and her sister not only did, she grew fond of them, she was mesmerized by her daughter-in-law. Lol. Yeah she has already approved of her as her daughter in law. And when reminded of her previous doubt she would curse the devil and blame her attitude as '' the devil temptation''

Who was she kidding, she decided and came to acknowledge that there was no girl better than her for his son and that Taya Mansi was the best daughter-in-law a mother could ask for and the contract simply make things easier for her?

And after discovering the wickedness of that Victoria girl, and adding on top of it his son's lonely life, she was decided than ever. she will see to it that his son and her daughter-in-law respect the contract, get married, give her beautiful grandchild.

That what's best for them both, after all she was the mother, and she knew best! 😉. came to acknowledge that there was no girl better than her for his son and that Taya Mansi was the best daughter-in-law a mother could ask for and the contract simply make things easier for her?
