A/n: WHY do guys look so good in beanies?! I have just five names: Alex Gaskarth Vic Fuentes, Kellin Quinn, Austin Carlile, and Oli Sykes. But why?!

Your POV:

After I left Austin and (bff/n) alone, I was standing outside of the hospital room, hoping that all was going well. I felt bad leaving Oli so abruptly, but he seemed to understand. And that's what made him so amazing. I looked around my phone and saw a message from him.

Oli: hey, ik you probably are pretty busy with everyone right now, but is everyone ok? I'm glad to hear you got there within six hours. I may have pulled a few strings to extend visiting hours just a little bit.

I thought for a moment. Talk about a guy who cared.

Me: yes, everyone's fine. (Bff/n) is a little shaken, but she's talking to Austin (her fiancé, and the guy who was trying to die) right now. And I was wondering about that. You didn't have to do that for me...

Oli: don't complain. It was totally worth it.

Then a nurse came to tell me that visiting hours were over. I walked into the room, told (bff/n) and Austin that I was leaving. They bade me goodnight. It occured to me then that I didn't have a car, and there was no way someone was going to drive me home at ten thirty at night. I stood at the bus station and looked up a schedule. Luckily, there was a night bus that was coming in about three minutes. (A/n: for those trying to logicitize this, you had stopped at your apartment before you went to the hospital to drop off your things really quickly because the hospital is within a few miles of where you live.)

The next stop was within minutes, and I was much faster than walking. My familiar apartment felt lonely, especially because I hadn't been here in months. I'd been surrounded by people for so long, I'd gotten used to it. I kind of missed them. I decided to face time Oli, and he answered almost immediately.

"I miss you," I confessed.

"I figured, " He said quietly. At my confused look he said that Lee was trying to sleep for the first time.

"Oh, that makes sense. "

"Hang on, I can talk, I just have to go outside. "

"Can you take your guitar? " I asked.

"Sure. What do you want me to play? "

"Hold on 'til May and Caraphernelia ? " I asked.

"Pierce the Veil today? How many bands do you listen to anyway?" He asked, walking out of the bus with the guitar in his hand. "Go lay down, I'll sing you to sleep. "

I did as he asked, going into my room and laying down on one of the pillows. Oli tuned the guitar a little bit, strumming the introduction. "She sits up high, surrounded by the sun. One million branches and she loves every one. Mom and Dad, did you search for me? I've been up her for so long; I'm going crazy. "

I sang the beginning along with him, then I let him play and sing by himself. At the end, I was fighting sleep. "And Caraphernelia ? Right so then... "

Oli strummed the beginning and started singing. "Sunshine, there ain't a thing that you can do that's gonna ruin my night. But there's just something about, this dizzy dreamer and her bleeding little blue boy. " I could barely understand the rest of the song, because I fell asleep.

Oli POV:

She fell asleep. I hung up after I told her good night when the song was over, not waiting for a response. I walked back onto the bus. One more day.

Your POV:

The next morning, my phone was propped up against my pillow. Then I remembered that I'd been letting Oli sing me to sleep last night. I quickly showered and got dressed, going right to the hospital for moral support. When I arrived, I told the woman at the lobby who I was here to see, and was let back to his room. When I entered, (bff/n) was already there, most likely she hadn't even left.

"Thank you, " Austin said to me. I cocked my head, not seeing what it was that I'd done. But I shrugged.

"It's no problem, " I said.

My friend rested her head on my shoulder. "It was a long night. I'm exhausted. " I let her fall asleep on me. I shot Oli a text.

Me: when you get here, we're at the hospital closest to my apartment. Ok? "

Oli shot me a thumbs up in response, and I put my phone away. "How has she been? " I asked Austin.

"She's been crying a lot, but it makes me see that maybe you were right. I feel bad for scaring her so much, but I think that I'm going to be okay for now. " He smiled.

After a few quiet hours filled with doctors and (bff/n) sleeping on me, Oli told me that he was on his way. It was three, so he must've just gotten off of the show. It made me feel loved that he would rush out here to be with me so soon.

When I was walking out of the hospital, I smacked into Oli. Visiting hours had just ended. "Hey! " I said, hugging him.

"It's great to see you again. How are they? " He asked.

"He's set to be released tomorrow morning if all goes well tonight. She was allowed to be there with him overnight. "

"That's great, " Oli handed me a slip of paper. "Go there tomorrow afternoon at two. Don't ask why. "

I nodded, feeling rather confused. When I went back to my apartment, I didn't feel tired at all, just really excited for tomorrow's surprise.
