Y/n's pov

I looked around at everyone sleeping and sighed, Why did it have to be 5 am? 

"Pst! Asher!" I whisper yelled and poked his arm as he groaned lightly. "Five more minutes mom.." He muttered as I sighed again and continued to poke him.

"What is it?!-" He almost shouted until he realized that it was me. "Y/n!" He said happily and hugged me. I hugged back a tiny bit confused as we pulled apart.

"What happened?" I asked as he looked at the ground with a frown. "You got shoot.." He mumbled as my eyes widened.

"Wouldn't I be dead then?" I asked as he looked up. "I came to save you but I was a little late.. Thanks to me you won't make it.." He mumbled and teared up.

I stood up from my bed and hugged him tightly and let him cry on my shoulder. "I'm sorry.." He kept saying as I sushed him. "It's going to be okay" I whispered as he calmed down a little bit. I tried to pull away but he wouldn't let go. "I don't want you to die on me Y/n.." 

"Life can be a piece of shit sometimes but you need to remember that when you feel this feeling you have to know that it will get better sooner or later" I started as he nodded.

"Plus I'll be waiting for you, I always will" I said and put a hand on his cheek lovingly. "Get back to sleep now Asher" I finished and kissed his cheek and fell asleep on my own bed.

'I love you Asher' I thought and fell into a deep sleep

Morning

"What? You talked to her?!" Said a voice as I woke up. "Oh great Anthony! You woke her!" Said a females voice as I rubbed my eyes tiredly.

"So how long will I live?" I asked Asher as he looked at the ground and muttered "About 2 days.."

I nodded as everyone fell into a depressing silence.

"I will be waiting for you all though" I said with a smile 

'Why am I like this? I'm accepting my death so easily..'

Night time

"You guys can't stay in the hospital forever" Said the nurse as they all sighed and waved goodbye to me.

"We will come visit tomorrow Y/n!" Said Audrey as they all walked out of the hospital and the nurse turned towards me.

"Well you should get some sleep aswell" She said and switched off the lights as I nodded. Just as I was about to fall asleep I thought 'Why do I wanna end it already?'

Just as I thought about that I could hear voices telling me to do stuff..

"They are already giving all the money to the hospital just to keep me alive.. Its selfish of me to make them use it all on me.. I should just end it all.. They will survive without me anyways.." I mumbled and found a flashlight in the drawer beside me.

I looked in my bag that the others had brought for me and found the giant machete Asher had gotten for me.

I started tearing up as I watched the salty tears fall on the shining metal. I run my finger alongside it.

It gave me a small cut as I smiled sadly and started writing a little letter for the others. 

'Hello guys

I'm probably lying dead on the ground right now and I'm sorry you all had to see that but I can't do this to you guys. I'm truly sorry.

I'm very grateful for the fun adventures we had this year but the game always has to come to an end. So I will be waiting for you on the other side.

I finished the letter and put it on the drawer and brought the machete up in the air against my chest.

"I love you Asher.." I mumbled with tears running down my face with a sad smile.

"And thank you.." I finished and took my own life with the machete. I felt the pain rush through my body as I held in the scream and fell to my knees weakly.

I let go of the machete weakly and fell to my side as darkness was surrounding me. I closed my eyes and let it take over..
