(Y/N)'s POV
"Bye Kiri!" I said before closing the door.
"Alright stay safe okay!" Kiri replied.
I nodded my head and took off. I jogged around the neighborhood while listening to (F/S) on my IPod. I started thinking about all the people I've met so far in UA. I wonder how they will do in the Sports Festival. I suddenly ran into someone and fell down.
"I'm so sorry I wasn't watching where i was going!" I apologized.
The kind person offered me their hand. I timidly took it and stood up. When I had a good look at the kind stranger I was shocked to see...
"K-Koji!?"
Flashback...
"(Y/N) we have someone we want you to meet!" My mother called me.
I rushed down the stairs, curious to see who it was. When i made it to the living room I saw a boy with midnight black hair with pale skin. I also noticed he had ears and tail like me! I politely bowed down and stuck out my hand.
"My name's (Y/N) Kiyomi!" I smiled.
He smiled along with her and shook hands.
"Let's be the best of friends ok?' you said.
he nodded.
Few Years Later...
"What do you mean you have to go?!?!" I yelled while crying at the same time.
He gave me a sad look in his eyes and pulled me in stroking my hair, careful of my ears. I could hear him crying too, which shocked me. He always tried to stay emotionless but when he was with me that shell just gets swept away.
"(Y/N) I'm sorry but it is what it is. Promise me you won't forget about me please," He whimpered.
My very Best Friend, the one who protected me, who helped me through everything, always has my back... is the one leaving. I never told him about Izu, Katsu, Sho, and Kiri. I was hoping one day I could introduce him to them but now I can't. I cried even louder as I picked up my head and set it in the crook of his neck, wrapping my arms around his neck.
"I promise," I whispered.
A week later he left for America. We didn't know if he was ever going to come back, but we gripped onto our necklaces. A gift we gave each other to remember all the fun memories we shared. Right before he left through security he opened his arms for one last hug. I cried and gripped on to him tightly. Our parents said they're our last goodbyes and patiently waited for me and Koji to finish.
"Koji we need to go," Mr. Yamasaki said, resting a hand on his sons shoulder.
Koji smiled weakly and hesitantly let go. He gave me a peck on the forehead and walked away, waving goodbye saying one last thing...
"I love you (N/N), don't forget me. I promise we'll meet again," before he walked through security.
Present time...
Tears filled my eyes as his familiar cocoa smell filled my nose. He smiled and embraced me. I started crying as we fell to the ground hugging each other.
"I-i thought *hic* I would n-never be able to *hic* see you again!" I cried into his shirt.
He smiled and stroked my hair like he used to do. I could hear him silently crying himself while holding me tightly.
"I promised you we'll meet again," He smiled warmly.
I sobbed in his embrace happy to have him back. After a bit I finally calmed down. We decided to catch up with each other. He jogged with me a bit before getting ice cream. He ordered coffee and I got (F/F). We sat down on a bench laughing and joking around as we used to. He gotten taller and looked a bit more... muscular. He still had his soothing navy gray eyes, smooth pale skin, and soft black hair.
