A place for you to live

A place for you to live, not too forested as to be incorrigible for living, not too close to the sea yet close enough to make you hear its song at twilight, not too close to the mountains as to feel small but upon a hill surrounded by gales of glittering grass.

Waking up here from the nightmares of yourself is an experience not found anywhere on Earth, yet, its experience is that of Earth, inherently. The fields bloom with hundreds of unique flowers, the rain falls and feeds those in the ground, the animals roam and hunt, but the more fearsome ones aren't here.

You're here now, in your little house with its cosy lights exposing every shade of you, spying upon the walls and every surface inside the little house. This place is of luminosity, a place where all is understood and seen.

You can do what you wish, you can visit the breezy beaches close to your little house, the sea excited by your appearance, sploshing and splashing against the salty rocks by the crag nearby. The salt feeds the fishes that swim calmly under the water, enjoying the system they had perfectly built for themselves. Just like you, you built this little house, you picked this place for it, you picked what to put inside of it, you picked what you want outside of it and what you wanted to take to put in it.

You could visit the forests, deep and ancient, placed here long ago most likely, during development. Inside these olden woods are the relics of the past, its fun exploring here most, isn't it? You find so many things to bring back home here, effigies and efforts made by those before you, surely. Maybe sometimes you find forgotten things made by you here, you look upon them with a new found sense of cynicism, you have grown, but these things didn't grow with you. You throw them back into the mud below, they get painted with the colours of progress, and their little dusts and particles stay on your hands. You move on.

Of course, here is the place of many creatures, how fun to see and speak too. The elk gracefully live their peaceful lives along the moss covered stones and leafy, almost-viney trees. You speak to them about all sorts of things concerning you, and they promptly respond with their collective wisdom.

"How are you, Elk friends?" You say, a smile is plastered on your face. You are happy to be in their presence, a sense of unobtainable bliss surrounds them.

"We are fine" an older one says back to you, you spoke to him the most. "The moss has come back this season. It paints the stones all sorts of colours, it changes them as they live together, it makes the rock better" He says.

"Is change necessary?" You ask, curiously, spurred on by the changing of the older-than-time-itself stones.

"Change is the natural order of things" He says back, you didn't like to hear that. "Nothing will stay the same. Stagnation, or the want for things to stay, will always hinder the sun coming back" He continued.

"Does it have to be this way? Will this forest go? Will the sea still greet me? Will the sun still show itself on the happiest days? Will I stay here?" You hopelessly ask it, again, and again, and again and again and again and again and again.

You had spoken for too long it seems, the Elk have already left.

The forest is always a nice place to explore, each tree has it's own unique story to tell and learn from, but those stories are for a different day, you'll be here for a long time. You decide the last visit for today is the mountains in the distance, standing proudly, mother natures castles of prowess. You like the mountains, then again, you like everything here, don't you?

The mountains are patted by a road of coursing water. You follow the river, fishes jump up from the depth performing their little dances for all to see. Butterflies and bees are exploring every little nook and cranny here too. They buzz past you without even noticing your presence. Like everything here, you belong here, you cause no harm to the things around you and they don't harm you. You are in an earthly symbiosis.
