I emailed the photo to my professor, and got ready to go to sleep.

My phone buzzed, so I took a peep to see who texted me. It was Mom. She sent me a video of a girl who worked really hard to become a doctor.

She had a message attached to the video that said "Imagine if you did this" I hated it so much. Slyly comparing me to other people, thinking that it would be inspirational. My eyes started getting blurry. "Fuck" I muttered.

"What is this grade!?" Y/n Father  yelled. "This is purely unacceptable." He threw y/n report card at the ground . Her mediocre grades were laying on the ground. Her eyes watered. She hated herself. Why couldn't she do better? She never studied and was occupied by the worlds evilness. Life was short though.  Or so she thought. She grabbed the paper off the floor and went to her room. She layed in the middle of her room and whispered to herself;

"Mama aint raise no quitter, she raised a procrastinator"

Expectations were a hard thing to hold. And whenever she went against them, she got in trouble with her scary Dad. She never felt like enough and her  older brother made it worse. He was over-protective and always invaded her privacy. There was no such thing as knocking.

Her Mom and Dad obviously favored her brother Jason, over her. Mother always platted his food, while y/n had to help herself. But it wasn't only the small things. Her parents paid for half of Jason's tuition, and didn't give a damn penny to y/n.

She always cried. She had to make a gofundme page. She raised an unexpected ton of money and still relies on it for her tuition. She had also work part-time since she was 14 beacuse she saw it all coming. Atleast y/n was a independant child.

Photography was her only way out her sadness. She would take pictures of the  sun and the moon and the stars and of the rain. A bunch of things. She bought disposable cameras because they were cheaper. She keeped it all a secret from her family and started an account on insta that quickly gained a following. From that day on, photography became her hobby, her life. And it helped her be who she is now.

She replied to her Mom with a "thats so cool"  and scrolled on her insta. She went on her photography account and decided to be reckless. She looked at the photo she took a few days ago of Lucas and that girl. "What if I uploaded it" "The professor might see it, or maybe even Lucas." She answered her self. She talked to herself a little too much. "Wait a minute" She interrupted her trail of thoughts. "Lucas doesn't even like photography." You knew this because you overheard him trash-talking photography, on multiple occasions in the hallways.

Listening to hallway conversation's are the best. You hear the weirdest things to the most kinkiest things to secrets that were never meant to be spilled.

Lucas' convo with his friends were just one of many other convos from other people.

After contemplating with yourself, you decided to post it, and captioned it "players." You constantly reloaded the page waiting for the likes to come. The photography account satisfied you. You, and only you had control over the account. You called all shots on it.

You looked at the comment section and your face fell agape. @//lolwhosnana had commented on your  post. You looked up his work. His photography was a huge inspiration to you. Each photo told a story and he told a poem in his caption. He commented "I know that place a little too well" Wondering what he meant, you went on his profile. Its said he just posted.
