I opened the door hoping no one would notice me, I didn't see anyone so I hoped I could sneak up to my room not bothered by anyone. But of course CC heard me.

'Hé Andy how was your date!' Oh god here we go again. 'Shut up CC! It was not a date, just chilling and working on some school stuff okay.' 'Okay okay, sorry I get it.' 'Oh come on Andy. This is the third time this week you went to see her. Don't tell us you're not interested in this girl.' Ashley said. 'Guys I'm not interested in her okay! I'm still trying to figure out what's going on okay. I'm just seeing her because I want to know what's going on.' 'Are you trying to convince us or yourself?' Ashley said laughing. 'Maybe you should ask her out sometimes.' Jake said while he walked into the room. 'You guys are unbelievable.' I said while I rolled my eyes. I'm going to take a nap.' 'You can't fool us Andy. We all know there's something more going on with you two!' CC yelled as I left the room. 'Andy has a crush!' Ashley yelled. 'Shut up!!!'

I walked into my room and collapsed on my bed. Did I like her? I don't know. I never thought about it that way. I decided to take a shower I took of my shirt and dropped it on my bed when I saw my phone light up. I got a text, I opened my phone and saw it was from Grace.

Grace: Hey Andy, I turned in our history project. Been listening to the KISS CD you gave me and I really enjoyed it, got any other things for me to listen to? 😊

A huge smile appeared on my face. I grinned while typing my response.

Andy: Hell yeah! KISS was just the beginning a lot more to come. Be prepared 😉

Oh fuck it! Who am I kidding? I do like Grace, a lot. She was different than most girls I've met. And unlike others I couldn't read her mind. I had no idea what's going on in her head. And I must say I like that. It has something mysterious. And I can't deny she's hot. Although I don't think she sees how beautiful she is.

When Andy left I realized I still had some other things to do for school. I was doing my homework while listening to the KISS CD Andy gave me. I must say I really liked it. I was trying to sing a long when I heard the front door open.

'Hey honey are you home?'

I immediately got up and ran down the stairs. 'Mom you're here!!' I screamed while I ran towards my mom and she pulled me in a hug. 'He darling. Missed me?' 'Yes I did, you've never been away this long. I'm not complaining but why are you here? You said you wouldn't be back till Friday.' 'I could make some changes so I could spend some time with my daughter.' My mom slowly pulled away. What are you listening to?' she asked confused. 'Oh it's a CD of KISS.' 'It is? I never knew you were into that kind of music.' She said surprised. 'Well uhm... me neither' I said shyly. My mom looked at my questioningly. 'It's kind of a long story.' 'I've got some time.' 'Okay so there's this new kid at school his name is Andy and we ended up doing a history project together. And he is determined to change my opinion on rock music cause so he gave me the CD to start listening to some rock music.' 'So it's a boy huh.' My mom said curious. I pulled away from her. 'Yes he is a boy. And no it's nothing like that! We're just forced to work on that history project together.' I said annoyed. 'Oh okay, sorry. Are you hungry?' 'Yes, kinda.' 'I thought maybe we can go to the mc-drive and watch a movie. So I can have some quality time with my beautiful daughter.' 'I would like that.'

We decided to watch a Harry Potter movie. Since we are both big fans. I loved my mother. When she was home, we were like best friends. But unfortunately, she has to leave for work. She worked as a flight attendant. Because of that she sometimes has to leave for more then two weeks. It could get very lonely sometimes, but I guess I got used to it. 'How are Amy and Madison? I haven't seen them in a while.' 'Oh they are fine. Amy just got a job at that cute cafe we used to visit a lot and Madison is just being herself.' 'I'd love to see them again sometimes.' 'Yes sure! I can ask if they can come over this weekend.'
