"Duckie, can I ask you a serious question?" You asked your boyfriend who was fake studying in front of you.
"Depends, is it about this work?" Duckie joked.
"Phil, I'm serious." You say and use his real name so he knows it's actually serious.
"Okay, go ahead."
"Do you actually love me. . . Or is it just one big joke?" You asked with tears brimming your eyes, getting ready for the 'why would it be real' or 'had this joke planned out for months'
"Y/n," Duckie starts and lifts your chin so you're looking up at him. "I love you more than anything, I would give you the moon if I could."
