Bonus Chap 6

Ok, so this was made specifically for TheShipMaster1, since they asked for it. Hope you enjoy it! Also, this WILL be REALLY short so ya. Also, i realize that this won't be the best. Ive just been struggling a bit so ya, this suffered n just is sorta crappy. Sorry. Maybe ill come back n edit it, but i doubt it. Sorry again. The song doesnt exactly go with this, but it just so good so i added it. Luv ya

XXX 3rd Person XXX

Obi was pacing once more in front of the Bacta Tank that held Iko. He knew at the end of the 24 hours, she'd be out and fine. But he couldn't help the worry that clouded his mind. He couldn't stand seeing her hurt like that. Cody and Snips were there with him while Anakin talked to the council. The two did their best to help him calm down.

But they themselves were also worried. She had been hurt and they couldn't do anything about it. For over three days.

They couldn't do much to help for three days.

He wished they could have come sooner.

But it's not like he can do anything about it now. They did the best they could to find them after they disappeared in hyperspace. But that didn't change how Obi felt right then. His apprentice, basically a daughter he never had and the niece of the woman he loved, in the Bacta Tank.

He looked back up at Iko and sighed. Most of her injuries were healed, the skin pink from healing. Her hair floated softly around her face blocking it occasionally and hiding the tense features. It was like she was having a nightmare as she healed and he couldn't do anything to help that either. Cody placed a comforting hand on his shoulder and Obi sighed as Cody led him to sit down. Snips followed after them after looking at Iko once more as if making sure she was alright with them leaving.

"Sir, holding yourself up like this won't do Iko any good when the 24 hours are up," Cody said and Obi had to nod at that.

"I know Cody. But I just can't help worrying," he admitted and Cody nodded.

"I understand that, sir. I feel that way every time one of my brothers end up in the medical bay. But looking like a wreck when they come out won't help her. The best way to help them is to take care of yourself. Why don't you go eat and get something to drink and I'll stay here in case anything comes up. Ok?" he said and Obi slowly nodded at that.

"Thank you, Cody." Cody smiled at that, patting Obi's shoulder once more as the man got up to head out. Snips followed behind him, to eat herself but to also make sure Obi did it. And if she just so happened to get him to go to sleep, then that was just a bonus.

Cody made his way back to the tank and sat down. Pulling out his blaster, he got to work cleaning it.

Obi wasn't amused when he woke up in his quarters. He did NOT appreciate being tricked into sleeping. Well, sleeping in his bed that is. He would have gladly slept on the floor in the medical bay to make sure he didn't miss any updates. After cleaning up a bit and a quick breakfast, Obi went to the medical bay and found Cody and Snip dozing against the wall. He shook his head fondly as he made his way over to them and sat down.

"Good morning, Master," Snips greeted tiredly when she snapped out of her doze. But he could tell she was fighting to stay awake.

"Good morning, Snips. Did you get any sleep last night?" Obi asked as Snips rolled her head about to stretch her neck.

"A little bit," she said and he nodded at that.

"Once Iko is out, you should go sleep," he said and she nodded at that.

"Of course, Master," she replied and the slipped into silence as the last hour or so passed. Cody woke up during that time and soon after, a med droid came in and it was time for Iko to be released. With some work, Iko was out of the Bacta Tank and on her way to the bathroom to clean up.

Once she was out in what could be called sweats, Obi pulled her into a hug which she was quick to return. Snips came up behind Iko and hugged her from behind. "I'm glad your alright now, Iko," he mumbled and Iko nodded agreement.

"I am too," she mumbled out which ended with a yawn. Obi and Snips laughed softly at that.

"Why don't we get you to bed, you could use some proper rest," Obi suggested which had Iko nodding too. So the two led her back to their personal chambers while Cody went to tell Rex and Anikan that Iko was out and going to rest.

So here it is. Also, for some reason, Anikan looks like I spelled it wrong but i dont have enough energy to try finding y it does. So ya. Here it is, i hope u enjoy it TheShipMaster1!!
