Young love is cute and an amazing experience to have in life... but, nothing lasts forever. The rare ones will, but I guess ours wasn't in that lucky bunch.

Rosé sat in front of the doorstep, waiting for her boyfriend to come home. With a heavy heart, she had to tell him the truth. Well, half the truth.

He stands in front of you with his hands in his pockets, with his hair slightly parted.

My favourite hairstyle on you...

She thought.

But instantly felt guilt wash over her... she had done something unforgivable. Which is why she can't keep this up anymore but to let him go.

He stood before her with large eyes, wondering why his girlfriend is sitting out in the cold with no jacket on. But before he could even open his mouth to say anything, Rosé had already said 3 hurtful words.

"Let's break up."

Jaehyun was taken back. He didn't believe what he was hearing. He must have misheard it, he must have, right?

However, the truth is always the ugliest, rather than being the prettiest.

"I wish that things didn't have to be this way, but it is. Think about it. You don't even care about me anymore... You weren't there when I needed you most." You sobbed.

"Perhaps it's not about me being there for you, but maybe we are too young to understand one another."

She gets up and left without a word, not even a goodbye. Jaehyun stood there with a wound that cannot be patched up, nor cared properly for, it kept on throbbing and hurting, reminding him that love is dangerous, unpredictable, and most importantly, it's not perfect.
