My Time • Jimin Oneshot

Y/N's POV

Being a friend to a famous artist is really exciting, not denying it but somehow it is surprising when he developed a feeling towards you. Meanwhile, you're the type of person who doesn't have much time to live your life. Even though you're still at an early stage, but you're terrified. Anything could happen even you're not at your worst. So actually, I'm talking about myself. Thinking about my cancer, I made my to-do list. They are, spending all my time doing things I like, spending it with my family also closed friends and about marriage.. It never crossed my mind for this time until he confessed his feelings and his wish to make me his queen.

*Last morning

I was talking with him through the phone happily in the morning. Before that, let me explain how we started our friendship. Okay, so we met each other when we both were having breakfast at a local restaurant. He suddenly walked to my table and greet me. We've been good friends for a few years. Now, back to my conversation with him.

"Can we meet at your favourite flower garden? I have something to tell you but not through the phone. Will you be able to come? Or should I fetch you?", Jimin, my very best friend asked me. He is the closest male friend in my life. I trusted him so much since he's been kind to me too. He listens to my happy, sad, funny stories no matter how boring they are.

"Why not? And no it's okay, you shouldn't get me, I can go there by myself. Wait for me please?", I replied as he gave me a goodbye before we hang up the phone.

I went to the garden in my lavender blouse and white trousers since those are my favourite outfit.

I saw him sitting on a bench under the big tree, waiting for me.

"Hello, Sir Jimin. Am I late?", I whispered as he turned his head to see me, with a smile.

"No sweetheart, I just arrived too. And you look stunning today.", He reacted.

"Stop it, I'm absolutely not. By the way, I'm sorry that I can't stay here long because I have to meet my mother later so what are you going to tell me? You sounded serious through the call just now. What happened actually?", I asked him worriedly.

He didn't utter a single word for a few seconds. I keep my eyes on him. Wondering what he's going to say.

"Will you marry me?", He kneeled down unexpectedly and showed me a tiny box containing a very gorgeous ring.

I was in total shock as my brain stopped working, I don't know how to respond to his proposal. I really wasn't prepared for this.

"What is this, Jimin?", I said with a sad tone.

"I want to marry you, y/n. I want you to become the guardian of my heart, the mother to my children, I want you to be mine forever. You are important in my life. Your presence always making me feel better. I don't know how to live without you. Even just a few days not seeing you, I couldn't do things right. Remember when I called you at 3 a.m. because I couldn't sleep? It's because I was thinking about you. And us. Will you let me take care of you? Will you allow me to share my entire life with you? Will you give me a chance to love you? Please?", He confessed while staring into my eyes, with full hope, the smile that appeared when I met him just now still not leaving his face.

"Jimin, I never thought you would like me as more than friends. I thought we're already great as friends. But you wanted to be more than that. I'm not sure, Jimin. I do like you and somehow, I do love you back but I hope you don't mind giving me some times and spaces to think about this.. I don't want to make a mistake especially when it comes to you. You are important to me too, yet important to the whole world, especially your fans. Can I?", I gently spoke, I don't want to break his lovely heart.
