EIRA'S POV

With the whirlwind of events following I lost track of time. And by the time Justin was speeding to reach my home on time the sun rays were already peeking through the sky. So much for beauty sleep. When we reached and just as I was getting out of the car Justin's husky voice interrupted me. "um when will I see you again?" he asked. I looked at his face. Those innocent eyes just shining like no other. "I don't know, I just need time to think and process all of this information you know but hopefully only for a short time period." I replied to him as he sighed in disappointment. I smiled leaning down and kissed his cheek. Then I rushed upstairs to my room. I need to change my clothes before dad got ant ideas that his beloved innocent daughter is hooking up with a smoking hot bad guy who also ends up being a criminal he is having an entire investigation about. OH JOY. I finally made my way downstairs to see an unknown face messing around in the kitchen. I lured up from behind grabbing a frying pan and smacking it on him. He helplessly tried to stop me but we were interrupted by dad saying he was his partner. Jason was his name. I apologized and he gave a wavered smile. Now we all were settled having conversation. "so you father told me you are a class topper aiming for dream college?" he asked as I nodded telling him I could not wait to get the hell out of here. Guess both of them are paired to investigate mercy park crew. A knot formed in the in my throat. By I feel like a person with multiple personality disorder. Living these 2 entirely different people at one time. When did I became so deceiving? "dad are you sure you are after the right guys? you out there risking heads for rich bastards whose cars gotten stolen like they deserve it" I said to him. " its my job girl but try not to worry" he kissed the top of my head and left. At school I fell asleep in the class, if it wasn't to Layla I would have faced taunting and embarrassment by the entire class. At the locker Danny and Layla caught up to me. " you ok champ? you are whirlwind these days. You never fall asleep in class. Good to know you are a human after all" he chuckled as I rolled my eyes. God this double life is catching up to me.

A few days later I received a text from Justin saying he missed me and that he would love to continue those car lessons. He has some tricks on his mind he would like to teach. But at the same time Layla reminded me we had a biochemistry project ugh. I sighed dramatically when I heard Layla squeal and gave an idea of inviting Justin for a study date with us. Cause she would love to hawk and tear down the guy who I apparently grew so attracted to that I am risking everything for it. So now we all were seated waiting patiently at Layla's house. I heard the door bell ring and opened it to see the Greek God standing there with bunch of roses in his hands. "For you because I like you and I am sorry" He said while kissing my cheek. I was feeling all giddy. Why he has to be so cute, I offered him to come inside, placing the flowers down I came in for a hug. Wrapping my arms around his torso while he wrapped his strong ones around me tightly. He placed multiple kisses on my head, the side of my neck as I took in his masculine scent. We let go as Danny and Layla cleared their throats. I was blushing like hell. " hey there Justin, let me tell you how nice you look today Handsome." she commented while shaking her hand with his as Danny complained that HE HER BOYFRIEND WAS STILL HERE and all of us laughed. "Its ok man I get it a lot. How are you doing. Eira told me a lot about yall nice to finally meet you" he said giving that million dollar smile and then man hugging Danny. Layla offered some homemade lemonade and he graciously accepted and fell in love with. Then all of us were working on the model designed for our assignment. "No you see, its unstable add a few nucleotides and it would be perfection" Justin commented. He made everyone's eyes pop out. Cause our model stopped tumbling when we followed his advice. Layla and Danny told him how awesome he was which he replied with, that he was just trying to impress me. "Did it work?" he asked looking at me. I nodded pulling me close. "Justin how did you learn all this? ever thought of going back to school" but this made him peel his eyes away from me. "babe I got lonely on roads sometimes so I read, had a defense lawyer whose attorney worked for forsenic and you know I never had such a choice" he rasped, gently rubbing his knuckles on my face. Later Layla took us all to her favourite ice cream parlour to celebrate. I am happy to see Justin enjoy himself. He put an arm around me as we both looked at Danny and Layla as they were the most adorable couple in the world. He kissed my cheek and finally convinced me to pick a random track from the juke box and that we would be dancing to it. Yes in the middle of the restaurant but luckily not anyone except for us and my friends were here.
