"Promise"

I sat in my bed, pursing my lips.

I placed the rock on the nightstand, with a heavy sigh.

Is this gonna work? Or just a joke?

I'll give it a chance then.

I stared at the rock before laying down on the bed.

I felt my wings disappear as I transform.

I slowly fluttered my eyes close, falling into a deep slumber.

"Y/n?" My eyes opened when I heard a subtle voice, shaking me awake.

I looked beside me and saw Taehyung sitting on the bed. "W-whats wrong?" I asked, rubbing my eyes.

"They're back." He simply said; my eyes became bigger than usual. "Hu-wha- why- who?" I drank the water beside the rock, trying to comprehend everything.

"Your parents, they're back. And wanted to talk." He explained. I placed the glass of water back where its from, looking deeply at Taehyungs eyes. He stared at me with pleading and teary eyes, and I understood what it meant.

"Dont worry, I never break promises."

I entered the huge dining area.

Inside was a ton of cook, servants, and knights standing in each side of the place.

The wall was painted gold, matching with the huge chandelier in the centre.

Of course we can't forget the dining table, it was approximately 18 meters long which is kinda stupid and weird.

Dad was sitting beside mom on one of the chairs. They both glanced at me at the same time, before standing up.

"No, I can walk by my own." I insisted, making them sit back down. With my ripped jeans, shirt and sneakers, I walked infront of my parents that were dressed as King and Queen.

I sat down, not looking at them at all.

I pushed the dish away and placed my arms on the table, before I could lean in to sleep, mom talked.

"Manners." She sternly said, making me roll my eyes. "What was that?" She spoke like she saw something bad.

"What?" I sat, grabbing a fork and stabbing it in a raw meat. "Y/n, did you just roll your eyes at me?" She asked in disbelief, while dad just sighed.

"Well what do you think?" I said chewing the piece of meat inside my mouth. She went quiet and stared at me for a while, I sighed as I stood up.

"You know what? If youre gonna sit there and say nothing, why bother call me?" I stomped off. "Maddison!" Dad called me by my english name, I rolled my eyes again before turning towards him, arms crossed. "Dont act like a child will you? And sit!" He scolded, leaving me with no choice.
