"Here we are." I say to Scar. "I can't wait!" We didn't really talk any more until we were on the plain. Scar's mouth has a particularly bad scar that hurts when he talks, so he doesn't talk much. Once we got on the plain, Scar held on as tight as humanly possible to the arms of the chair. He kept looking out the window and asking me, "Have we taken off yet?"
"Are you scared Scar?"
"No!!! I've just never been on a plain before and it's um..... What's the word?"
"Scary?"
"No! I'm not scared!"
That's when the plain started moving.
"Oh crap! Oh god! Oh my god!" Scar muttered under his breath.
"Haha I knew you were scared!"
"Shut up."
We were quiet for the rest of the flight. Once we landed and got our baggage, we both went outside and saw our hill. It was even better than in the pictures and videos.
"Well, let's get our baggage to the hotel and start on some of the smaller local hills. Let's work our way up to the monster hill." Scar said.
"Sounds good to me!" We made it.
