Austin POV
*2012
"Alex, why does she hate me so much. I have tried literally everything to make her like me. I haven't done anything to her and she won't even give me a chance. I know that I should give her up, but I can't get her image out of her mind. Her smile is like the sun, so beautiful. I'm in love with her."
"I seriously have no idea. You're so hot dude." Alex says to me with a smirk on his face and we both laugh.
"No but seriously bro. I gave her flowers and she threw them away. I gave her chocolate and she threw it at me. I asked to walk her home and she ignored me. I sang her a cover and she walked away. I can't believe she hasn't fallen for me yet."
"Austin, be realistic. Not every girl in this world is going to love you. You can get a ton of girls all over the world. You can get almost anyone you want. Just because one girl doesn't like you isn't the end of the world. Stop acting like you are a huge celebrity. You need to get a reality check because love is complicated. Love isn't easy. If you "love" her then you need to prove it. You need to prove it every day and you need to fight for her."
"I understand that. I just don't know what to do. I couldn't sleep at all last night because I was thinking about her. I want to prove it. How do I do that?"
"I don't know. Ask her. Every girl is different."
"Well what did you do to get Sarah to like you?" I ask wondering if Alex was romantic or if Sarah liked him first. Alex could be romantic but everyone likes Alex. He's just fun to be around and I love talking to him. He's been my best friend since he moved here in 2009.
"I wrote her love notes every day and left them in her locker. We talked every night and hung out on weekends. I asked her out at a football game because we had our first kiss and I could tell she was completely falling for me."
"Thanks bro!"Taylor POV
"Are you and Matty going together to homecoming?" Maddie asks.
"Yeah, he is so perfect. I can't believe he likes me. He is so adorable and funny. I'm so glad that we are together. He always puts a smile on my face. Are you going with Jimmy?"
"Yeah, we should meet at my house and take pictures out back. By the way, I love your outfit today!"
"Thanks!" I was wearing a gray sweater and a pink and lace infinity scarf with leggings and brown combat boots.Matty came up and walked me to class. We only had 2 classes together and then lunch. Matty was 5 feet something and when he kissed me, his upper lip fit perfectly under my nose. He had cute brown hair and an amazing personality. We went on a date once a week and he always bought me something for our anniversary. We had been dating for almost a year. No guy compared to him.
After school, Maddie and I went to the mall. Austin was there and we walked the other way. He wasn't such a bad guy now, but he completely forgot about what he said in 8th grade. I know I shouldn't care because he has changed but it does. He should realize how bad he hurt me. He likes me now and Matty is a better guy because he would never bully anyone. Austin was romantic though. It was actually funny how much he likes me. I don't know if he forgot that he bullied me or if he didn't recognize me. He didn't talk to Peyton anymore because she turned into a pothead. Austin is best friends with Alex Constancio, Zach Dorsey, and Robert Villanueva. Maddie was really close with Robert and Zach.
We both got jeans from wet seal, shirts from charlotte russe and hollister, and the same sweater from american eagle.
Later that night, Matty came over and we just watched netflix. We just cuddled and he ended up sleeping over. Matty lived like 2 minutes away and his parents were happy that we were together. My dad hated the idea but my mom forced him to deal with it. To be honest, I don't care what they think.
