3 : Surprise! 💚

I walked though the school gates with confidence. I have never felt like this before. I'm just determined to not regret anything today.

I met with Kiara when I entered the classroom. Obviously she asked me what had happened yesterday and yes, I told her. Initially, she was disappointed, I mean, losing marks just because I spent the night watching V-lives (livestreams on an app called Vlive that kpop groups use) . If I had a child like that, I would disown it, no jokes!

"Ahahaha!!! Annie, you're so ridiculous. Don't even do that again hahahahhahahahaha 😂 😂" Kiara said almost in tears because of the uncontrollable laughter.

Our first class was Chemistry. Luckily, I had studied like crazy and so I went to miss Hwa-Min Han's table and asked for the mini test's question paper. I knew EVERY SINGLE answer.

I submitted the paper earlier than I thought I would.
"I will give it to you after correcting" She said. I was just about to walk back to my place and miss Hwa-Min Han spoke to me "I'll correct it here. You wait here Annie." I didn't know if having my paper corrected in front of me was cool or scary but I just stood there.

She handed me my paper. "Good job! Go back to your place. LETS GET CLASSES STARTED EVERYONE! OPEN YOUR BOOKS!" I almost screamed when I saw the amount of marks that I obtained.

...I GOT ALL OF THE ANSWERS CORRECT! I think the day went pretty fast. I mean, we had tennis today and most of our teachers had meetings so we got permission to use the playground. Kiara and I spoke alot. Like... ALOT!

*Ring* *Ring*

That was the last bell 🔔. Everyone went home. I suddenly paused. "Kiara, how am I going to your home? Is your mom picking both of us up??" I asked, since I remembered that I was going over to her home. "Ya! Don't worry, my mother called your parents and asked if it was okay... In fact... *mumbles*" I was relieved. We can now have some quality bestfriend bonding time!

Kiara's mother was a really kind woman. She helped me with studying when my parents had a business trip once. I really like her. Her name is Lauren Choi and she was born in America (that's why her name is 'Lauren') . She had spent 14 years in America and then moved to Seoul with her parents.

I glanced over at Kiara's face, she had been beaming like a literal sunshine 🔆. Her smile was wider than the whole of Asia. I turned my face away and smiled too.

It hadn't been long (2 minutes) till I started to get my "phone sickness" , which basically meant that I had to, just HAD to check my phone again. It started to get windy. Ah yes, it's the 2nd week of December, what would I expect?
I then stared at the sky and started to shiver. Kiara was the one who spoke before me. "Hey, it's really cold! Why don't you take out your sweater? You brought it today right?" She asked me, shivering. "Oh, yeah I brought it, hehe, no worries" I said, my teeth chattering, as I pulled out my blue hoodie from my bag and put it on.

"Hehehe! I--- sorry, Uh" Giggled Kiara. That was creepy!! She just randomly giggled! Is there something that I don't know? Did I miss out on a joke or... WHAT'S GOING ON?!

Suddenly Lauren's car pulled over in front of us.
"Get in! " Beemed Kiara's mom.
The both of us had gotten into the car .

I glanced over at Kiara's face again. EEEHHH?! She was creepily giggling and smiling, AGAIN! And I thought that I had become crazy!
