Normal pov:

Since the crisis, houses were being raided and peoples were being murdered, the laws were not of any use when billions of peoples already died, governments and countries were breaking apart as everyone went crazy and greedy for anything, clans started to form as we were reaching a state of full anarchy.
The group called the forsaken souls were now regarded as heroes, because they could tell peoples where death was, some managed to survive that way...but they got their hands on the detector and were looking for new members.

While that was happening, y/n Was still in his room, laying on his bed while doing nothing, the crisis got rid of his emotions it would seem. A knock could be heard, he got up and walked toward the door. He opened it and saw five peoples.

???: Hello, we are the forsaken souls, we need to talk to you.

He looked at them for a second, thinking about why he should trust them.
He shrugged and stepped aside.
They entered the living room as he closed the door.

Y/n: You can sit down.

His voice was slightly raspy since it has been a long time since the last time he spoke. They sat down on whatever chairs they could find and y/n did the same, looking at the one who spoke first, guessing that he was the commandant or something.

Y/n pov:

We were sitting around a table.

Y/n: Who are you?

Delta: My code name is Delta, we don't say our real name in the group.

He pointed at the one that looked the strongest, tall and with ripped muscles.

Delta: This is Tango

He pointed at an other person which had nothing in particular except that he had only one eye.

Delta: This is Charlie

He pointed toward two guys that looked oddly similar, they both had a birth mark across the left arm.

Delta: They are Beta and...

He sighed, pausing himself for a bit

Wolf: It's wolf!

I looked at him, raising a brow.

Delta: Why did you name yourself like that again?

Wolf: Because wolves are cool!

He sighed again and looked back at me with a more serious look.

Delta: We need you, as you know, the Natural Cleansing is still rampag-

Y/n: Natural Cleansing?

He looked at me as if I said something wrong, he turned turned his partners and then back at me.

Delta: You know what's happening outside right?

I shook my head no, I had stopped being interested in what was happening the moment my parents died.

Y/n: I don't know a thing.

He had his mouth agape, seemingly trying to process what I said...

Delta: ... Basically, peoples started dying, peoples like us started to see things, death, and now there are billions of peoples that have died...

Y/n: Then why are you here?

He slightly nodded to one of his friends, who gave him some sort of device that kept on beeping loudly.

Delta: That thing is like a detector, it's used to find peoples like us, peoples with powers. And it hasn't stopped beeping since we got here, you might have a powerful sighting ability. That power allows us to see death, but we can't touch it.

Y/n: But I don't care... Why should I help you...

Delta: Are you serious? Peoples are dying outside!!!

He got up while hitting the table with his fist. I just stared at him,not having any particular reaction.

Y/n: It's not my problem... And also... Why would you need an other guy if with five you can't do a thing?

The four others got up, they were apparently upset about what I said... But it's the truth... I mean how could it change anything if five peoples with power can't even touch death, how can they hope I'll change anything...

Delta grabbed me by my collar, bringing his fist back, preparing to punch me, but he stopped as I heard something coming, therefore turning my attention toward it.

Delta: What are you looking at fu-

He turned his head and released me, seeing death.

Delta: EVERYONE IN POSITION!!!

They blew the wall behind us away, creating an opening to the streets.
They ran outside, I just stared at them and sighed. I got up and followed them.

Y/n: The wall...

We were now outside, looking at the hole in my wall.

Y/n: You didn't have to break my wall...

Delta: Shut up you! You want to die that bad???

He pushed me away out of spite I guess. I saw them getting something out of their pockets, it looked like little spheres.
We could see death approaching them, taking its scythe. It sighed.

Death: Them...again... They don't understand do they?

I looked at....her? It was lady death after all, why am I surprised...

Y/n: You've encountered them before?

She looked toward me, blankly giving a nod.

Lady death: Yes, th-

Her eyes slightly widened as she stared at me now surprised by something...

Lady Death: You can you hear me?

I raised a brow in confusion, what kind of question was that...

Y/n: Well of course I can....

I looked toward the group that called themselves the forsaken souls. They were looking at me with wide eyes, what's the deal with them?

Y/n: What are You looking at?

Delta pointed me with his finger, he was gaining a smirk.

Delta: You.... I knew it.... COME ON, KILL THAT THI-

Y/n: Huh?

She appeared in front of them, they fell on the ground, inanimated, dead.
My eyes slightly widened at that.
She turned around, facing me.

Normal pov:

She looked at him, intrigued as to why he could interact with her but noticed one thing, he was smiling. She grew a confused expression as she approached him, vaporising the corpses that stood on her way

Lady death: Why are you smiling? You are about to die

His smile grew larger.

Y/n:I don't know, but it's been a while I haven't smiled, I thought I could die while doing so

As she was getting closer and closer, she drew her scythe and the he just stared at her, she was menacingly making her way toward him, but he was still smiling

Lady death: Stop smiling, it's useless and you will die like the others, it won't make a slight difference

She was loosing her composure at the mans smile.

Y/n: It won't, yeah

he said, looking down.
Y/n: But for me, it will

He lifted his head and saw that she had stoped walking, her scythe slowly disapearing
She stayed silent for a while, looking at him confused. But the last thing she saw, was the man walking toward her. She teleported away
Was she scared? No, it's impossible, then what is it?
As the questions surged through her mind, she couldn't get his smile out of her head, it was haunting her.

Y/n pov:

I woke up, tired as usual, I keep on dreaming about those events that had occured.... But it's been some time since that happened.... Some things have changed since then.
