Confessing- Falice & Hermary pt1

[Set in 4x17, Yes, Falice is dating and Mary isn't dating Brooke.]



The musical was coming up and it was the first one where the Smith-Joneses would attend as a family. While the kids were rehearsing and Alice at work, Fp got an idea. So he went to the basement, got his private box out and looked through it until he foud what he was looking for; the pink envelope. This time he would give this to her no matter what happens but he also got another idea. When the kids got home, he asked them to sit down with him because he wants to discuss something really important. "Wow, moving forward I see but you have my blessing.", Betty said. Jughead and Jellybean also agreed, so the plan was on. It had to be perfect. Fp worked on his perfect plan and with Betty's help it turned out just as they wanted to. After work he picked up the last pieces and finished the details. "she just needs to say yes." , he thought by himself. The kids left for the last rehearsal and Alice was finishing some pie in the kitchen, so now or never. He got the envelope and walked up to her. "Ali? I should've given you this two years ago but when I saw you with Hal, I thought I lost you forever so I left before you could even notice me.." , he whispered handing her the envelope. "You were there?" , Alice asked and before he even got the chance to answer, she started reading.

Alice, first of all I'm sorry for being an ass earlier.. I was so afraid that I couldn't stand up to such a wonderful woman. I don't regret last night, it just brought up feelings, I thought I would've been able to burry. But truth is that I can't, I can't hide my feelings for you. I really tried to get you out of my head but I just can't. We have never really been talking about our feelings but today I really want to tell you that I love you with my whole heart. You're the only person in the world who I want to grow old and spend my life with. I don't want to mess is up again, so please let's talk after your big show and see where it could lead when we let our feeling lead us. Alice looked up and straight into his eyes. "Do you mean it.. with honesty?", she asked. He nodded. "I love you Ali." Her eyes went wide. Yeah, they have been dating since she got back from the Farm but they never talked about feelings. "I love you too Fp." , she smiled.
"Now let's go and see our children perform, I bet they're waiting."

The musical was perfect so far but Fp started being more nervous the closer they got to the end. It was now or never. Everything was planned out.
They headed outside for the final and when the last song started, Fp knew that there is no going back. Betty pointed her finger at them and that was the sign. He grabbed Alice's hand and made her follow him to the front. He counted to ten and then rose-leaves started falling down. Alice raised an eyebrow and couldn't quite figure out what was happening.
The Archies sang a quiet love song in the background and all eyes were on Fp and Alice.
Fp pulled the ringbox out of his pocket and got down on one knee: "Alice Smith I've loved you for more than 25 yeras. 25 years with many ups and downs. With many obstacles. And now we're here years later. And the journey of life is not easy, but when you are with me, I can overcome any challenge in my life, we enjoy the good times together and when the bad ones come, we support each other; we should stay together forever. I love you, Alice. The story that our lives write is the most beautiful of all. It has the feeling of love, care, affection and even anger; but it's not the end yet; there are many chapters to complete. Let's make a perfect love story together. Many things give me life, but you give me love; everyone says that couples are made in heaven, and if so, then we are made for each other. Let us make God proud of his own creation by always being together with smile and care. I don't know how to express my feelings for you. But the only thing I can say is that I will love you to the last breath of my life until the sun won't rise again and until every last star in the galaxy dies. I want to give you all the happiness in the world and take away your sorrows and pains forever. The love we cherish makes my life more beautiful; sharing emotions with you makes me happy , you make me happy. Life has many sides and I want to explore each of them with you. I want to grow old with you. So, Alice. Do you want to finally be my be Mrs. Jones? Will you marry me?" Alice has already been crying since he started and everyone was staring at her waiting for her answer. "Yes, yes I will!", she answered. Everyone cheered and celebrated them except for no one other than Hermione Gomez. "What's wrong Mione?" , Alice asked as she came up to her. "You know Alice.. Everyone got their happiness back.. Sierra has Tom, you have Fp and you're getting married to the love of your life.. but Mary and I? We're just friends. I mean it's better than nothing but I can't pretend to not have feelings for her anymore.."
"Hermione listen.. A lot happened and it took us a while to figure everything out but you just have one choice to make. Either you talk to her and work through everything together or you may let the chance slip through your fingers. So take the risk or lose the chance." Alice patted her shoulder before walking away.

It was Tuesday, Mary and Hermione always meet up on Tuesdays. But today it was different. Mary already noticed the tension when Hermione walked in and Hermione already knew that she will be taking the risk today. "Mary, we need to talk." , Hermione mumbled. She got a confused look in response but Mary said down and nodded.
"Okay I don't even know how to start." "Mione just go straight ahead:" , Mary said trying to keep cool. "When Alice and Fp got engaged, I realized something.. I realized that I can't just be friends with you Mary. I uhm I still have feelings for you and I really can't hide them anymore. I'm sorry if that ruins-" Mary interrupted her by just crashing their lips together.
"We have a lot to talk about and we have to figure all of this out but I believe that there really is a chance for us." , Mary said.
"Really?"
"Really!"

And with that a new unknown future started for both couples.
