Disclaimer- this has a trigger warning. Topics discussed here include suicide and depression. There's nothing romantic about suicide and death and I am aware of that. It's not pretty and to ANYONE who's going through it I'm giving you all my strength and hope. It'll all get better soon. Take care and get help. Please. We all need to be happy and taken care of. We all deserve it. Don't settle for anything else.. love yourselves. Love the little things in life. Be kinder to yourself. Take a break. Be safe. Be happy.
.....
Not all the stories will be like this I swear. I think this'll be the only one. But I felt like writing this down and putting it out there. Hope you read the rest, my other works and vote for them!

......

Watching her walk, with her hood pulled over her head, looking at the pavement with a glare, anyone would think she's going to kill someone.
And they would be right
She was gonna kill someone

Herself

Her mind was made up. She'd had enough of this shit. There was no point in going forward. Everything would be easier for everyone.

"You're making a mountain out of a molehill"

Yes. I think I deserve to make a big deal of the thoughts that go on in my head all the fricking time.

"You should go to therapy"

My therapist is now going to therapy because of me. I think I broke her.
As expected of my sociopathic self I guess

Sigh

Might as well end it all.

Why am I feeling sad then? This isn't even sadness is it...

Eww feelings. The most illogical part of human thought.

I feel... Empty. I guess that means I'm done.
Done with this.

She steeled herself and kept walking. She had decided to do the deed on the bridge. No body to discover when you come back home. No mess to clean up.
No more disappointments. No more shock.

Just a cold dead body.

She felt all the people taking one look and avoiding her gaze. An aura of destruction surrounding her.

His attention had been caught by the way people avoided her. When he saw her he knew. He had seen that look before.
Min Yoongi knew what that look meant.

It meant she had decided to end it all

He followed her as discreetly as possible. He was in disguise anyway. People didn't recognise him when he stepped out in his bright clothes and sunglasses. He was out of character. But the anonymity this provided was glorious.

He saw her stop at the middle of the bridge, looking at the sunset. He slowly approached her and stood next to her.

"Don't do it."

She looked at him with a blank but threatening stare.

"Do what?"

"You know what I'm talking about"

"It's better this way" she answers with a blank look

"No... No it's not. Stop.. stop this please"

"How does it matter to you? Why should I listen to a random stranger who decides to butt in on me watching a sunset?!" Her voice rises causing people to look and avoid them even more

"I don't know and I can't stop you either. But we both know you're not here for the sunset." He leans in to her ear "Don't kill yourself... Death- death is not the answer to anything"

She stood there, silently, a single tear rolling down her cheek, before collapsing on the ground with a blank look. Like something had clicked.
It broke his heart. But she needed to know.
She needed hope.
She needed to see that there was more to life.
So much she would miss out,
If she were to disappear

"Ahh you said you wanted to watch the sun set? Come, I know a better place"

He grabbed her arm and led her through streets and up a hill. She followed without resistance.

Something broke in her when she heard those words from him. No one had told that to her. Sure she'd told herself that before. Sometimes. But it just got so hard. So hard... People brushed it off as her being cold but sometimes all she needed was
A hug
A word
A pat on the shoulder
It got so lonely at times
Just a tangled mess of thoughts to keep her company

They turned into a park at the top of the hill and he led her to a gazebo

"The best place in the city.." he said, gesturing to the view below as he stepped back
She looked up with dead eyes, but as she took in what she saw, they slowly lit up. With clarity, with colour,
With life
The vivid mix of pinks purples and oranges made her wish for her pastels and paints

Her art supplies. She hadn't touched them in so long.
Her life had been devoid of colour for so long, she'd been reluctant to try and fill it back in.
So many things she hasn't done till now
So many places she hasn't seen yet
So many words she hasn't spoken yet
So many pictures she hasn't taken yet
So many songs she hasn't listened to yet
So many pictures she hasn't painted

She didn't want to miss out on all that.
She didn't want to die
She wanted to live
Truly fully live

The realisation made her knees buckle. She sat on the floor and he just stood back as she cried her heart out.
She hadn't felt anything for ages.

He knew that
He knew what it was like
Being broken
Not finding joy
Not finding music in life

Until he heard the leaves rustling and the birds chirping when he finally got out of the house with the boys.
Until he heard the waves crashing on the shore.
He had realised then. That he wanted to live
As she had right now.

They stood there until it was dark and she had composed herself. She took his hand and got up, truly looking at this man, with messy blonde hair in a yellow sweatshirt.
"You don't really wear colours often do you?" She says, wiping her nose on a tissue he gave her
"Is it that obvious?" He asks grinning
She laughs, a beautiful sound.
Something the world hadn't heard for a while I bet
They walked back. Him dropping her off in a cab.
She hadn't asked for his name. Nor his number. Nor had she got to thank him . She just smiled gratefully and he smiled back.

Damn her social skills.

She wondered if they would ever meet again. For she wanted to thank him.
Thank him for saving her life.

He hoped she would find her way, whatever it may be. He hoped to meet her one day too, under different circumstances
.....

He did meet her again. As an artist. As a part of the album concept team.

She had always wondered what it would be like to meet him again. After realising who he was when she was searching for what to do with her life, she decided she wanted to make something too. Something that would change lives as well. For that was what Min Yoongi was doing everyday for countless people.

She decided that she would create magic too. A different kind of magic, but magic that would bring hope and joy to everyone.

He saw the light in her eyes. The difference in the way she walked and carried herself. She had found her path

She went around shaking everyone's hands. And when it came to Min Yoongi
"Hello I'm Min Yoongi." He smiled a knowing and happy smile

"Hi! I'm Zora! Nice to meet you. I'm looking forward to working with you!"
She ended with a grin.

He looked at his hands and realised she had passed him a note.

Thank you
